Liu Jiming, an Elderly Female Falun Dafa Practitioner from Qingdao City, Was Tortured to Death in the Rehe Road Police Substation

(Clearwisdom.net) Liu Jiming, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Qingdao City, Shandong Province, was killed by the police on August 25, 2002. Before she died, the 61-year-old woman was savagely tortured by the policemen from Rehe Road Police Substation. After she went on a hunger strike, she was jailed in an iron cage for several days. The Reihe Road Police Substation notified Liu's family that she had died around 2:30 in the morning.

According to Kyodo News' report in Beijing on August 28: in order to negotiate with China about consulate convention, when Japanese visiting government official Satou Shigekazu from the Asia-Oceania Bureau of Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs had a conversation with Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Official Zhou Wenzhong on August 28, he requested a proper resolution to the issue of the Chinese woman (Yoko Kaneko) who is married to a Japanese man and lived in Harmachi, Sado, Niigata County, Japan. She was arrested for distributing Falun Gong materials in Beijing. Zhou said, "We know the concerns from the Japanese side."
