- An official from the National Anti-corruption Bureau revealed that there are currently over 4,000 corrupt officials taking over 5 billion Yuan (600 Million US Dollars) with them as they flee overseas. The huge loss of state assets has endangered some state owned enterprises and caused severe social problems.
