Thoroughly Expose Jiang's Evil Nature; Create an Environment for People to Learn About the Truth

I think we Dafa practitioners should make good use of time to thoroughly expose the evilness of Jiang Zemin and his political villain regime to all people, in China and abroad. We should eliminate the material field upon which the evil depends to survive, and create an environment for people to learn about the truth. The "thoroughly exposing the evil" I mentioned above does not only include exposing the crimes Jiang Zemin committed against Dafa, it also includes Jiang's crimes in the fields of politics, economy, humanity, betrayal of the country, murder, tyranny and others.

Opening Remarks for Washington DC July 23 Rally

Through all this, however, there is something that we have not lost. We have not returned the violence, we have not returned the lies and the hatred. We have endured so much and courageously followed three simple virtues: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. For those who persecute us, no matter how violent they get, no matter how vicious and how deceitful they are, they will never be able to take our virtues and principles from our hearts.

UK Government Report Highlights Hong Kong Authorities' Suppression of Falun Gong and the On-going Court Case

On Tuesday July 23, the UK government published its 11th biannual report on Hong Kong. In the Foreword, the UK Foreign Secretary, Jack Straw, stated that that the basic rights and freedoms afforded to the people of Hong Kong through the Joint Declaration and the Basic Law must continue to be upheld. Clearly referring to the Chinese government's interference and pressure on the Hong Kong authorities, Mr. Straw stated it is vital that this [Hong Kong's] autonomy continues to be respected. The report highlighted the on-going trial of innocent Falun Gong practitioners in Hong Kong and a number of incidents that were widely regarded as examples of the Hong Kong government's disregard for human rights when pressured by China. The report stated that there have been a number of controversial incidents related to the handling of the Falun Gong practitioners. On March 14, sixteen Falun Gong practitioners, including four from Switzerland, were arrested while appealing outside the Central Peoples' Government Liaison Office. All sixteen were charged with obstruction. The report explained how the Hong Kong government ironically later dug up pavement at the very spot where Falun Gong practitioners were arrested for obstruction. The SAR Government subsequently erected wooden barricades outside the CPG Liaison Office where Falun Gong had staged its daily appeals.

Thank you. First of all, thank you very much.

As you know, the United States Congress is firmly behind the cause of the Falun Gong and say to the Chinese dictatorship, "Stop it! And stop it now!" It is unconscionable to me, ladies and gentlemen, at a time when many of our business people and even some members of Congress feel that we need to enhance our trade. But Falun Gong practitioners are being tortured, are being mistreated, sleep-deprived, told that they can't eat, beaten with batons, with electrical prods. At least 438 Falun Gong practitioners (the number is probably much higher) have been tortured by a dictatorship that fears people simply because they want to be peaceful, they want to practice their belief system as they see fit. I want you to know, that the White House, and Congress, Democrats and Republicans alike, are in solidarity with each and every one of you. We say to Beijing, if you want be part of the civilized world and join the nations in that world community and be partners with the world, stop repressing, stop torturing, and let the Falun Gong live in peace.
