[Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] After Her Release From Three Years of Suffering in a Forced Labor Camp, Dafa Practitioner Nie Jing is Detained Again
Nie Jing, a practitioner from Jinzhou City, was illegally sentenced and detained in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for three years and all the while remained firm and unyielding in her faith. After the three years were over the forced labor camp officials notified the Jinzhou Police to detain her yet again in Jinzhou Detention Center so as to continue the persecution. Nie Jing has been on hunger strike since her illegal detention.

Several days ago the Clearwisdom website exposed the crimes of the Yinchuan Police, who arrested ten Dafa practitioners. The person responsible for instigating the arrests is the Party Secretary of Ningxia, Chen Jianguo. He was the Deputy Governor of Shandong Province before coming to Ningxia. After coming to Ningxia he ordered the Province Party Committee to hold brainwashing classes that last three months. Practitioners who remain firm are forced to go through further brainwashing. Police have forced ten practitioners into these types of brainwashing classes. Each of them is monitored 24 hours a day by two people, one from the work place and another from the brainwashing class. Family members are not notified.

On November 8, 2002, the Chaoyang Police intercepted a truckload of hydrogen from people who were not Dafa practitioners. [Note: hydrogen can be very explosive under certain conditions] According to inside sources, the Chaoyang Police attempted to use this incident to frame Falun Gong by making the false claim that practitioners were going to Beijing to bomb Tiananmen during the 16th Party Congress.

In Yichun City many practitioners were illegally detained and forced to write 'guarantee papers.' The police threatened practitioners with imprisonment or dismissal from their jobs, or even their family members' jobs or businesses. The city is impoverished and life is very difficult for people, yet the police extort anywhere from several thousand to over ten thousand Yuan from practitioners, calling it a "deposit." Conditions in the Tangwanghe (forestry bureau) area are especially bad.

A 28-year old female practitioner, whose name is unknown, was arrested by the Changde Police on November 15 2002. Her whereabouts are unknown.

On October 22, 2002 five thugs from Shuangjin Township, Shenzhou City went to the home of the daughter of practitioner He Fengting and took He by force. They sent He to a brainwashing class in Shenzhou and forbade her family members from seeing her. Her current situation is unknown.
