News from China

In the history books, there is the story of "Liu Bowin prays for rain": There was a drought in the southern area of the Yangtze River. Liu Bowin said to Zhu Yuanzhang (one of the emperors in Ming Dynasty): "It has not rained for a long time because someone was unjustly put into prison." Several days after this case of injustice was corrected, there was a heavy rain. This reminds us of China today. Besides drought, all kinds of other natural and man-made disasters are taking place one after another. Shouldn't we ask: Are there people who were put into prison unjustly? Isn't it unjust to continuously persecute Falun Gong for over three years?

Truth about the persecution

I grew up under my mother's mistreatment and abuse. Therefore I have longed for maternal love. Now that I have a daughter of my own, I try to love and protect her in every possible way so that she can grow up joyfully under her mother's love. After I practiced Falun Gong, I started to forgive my mother. However, Jiang's regime launched the persecution against Falun Gong. Under tremendous pressure, my husband and I got divorced and he was granted custody of our daughter. Now I have lost my family and my job. My eight-year-old daughter has lost her mother's care.
