Since July 20, 1999, the authorities in China have been attempting to evoke hatred among people of Falun Dafa by means of slanderous propaganda. Meanwhile, Falun Dafa practitioners follow their teacher and validate the greatness of Dafa.
How can anybody stop the spreading of Dafa? How can anybody stop people from learning goodness? Here is a story that I would like to tell the kind-hearted people in this world.
On the afternoon of November 30, 2001, two practitioners asked me to introduce Falun Gong in a rural place with them. There we met a woman who had obtained Dafa. She told us that her husband used to be weak and troubled with illness. After he practiced Falun Gong, he became healthy and strong. He was able to work on the farm and he even built a new house. Later, an official told him that the "authorities" didn't allow people to practice Falun Gong, so he gave up under pressure. He became ill again and died. Before dying, he was extremely regretful. He asked his wife not to think of him all the time, instead, she ought to take Falun Dafa seriously, treasure it, and cultivate. Her mother-in-law once said the same thing. People in her village all knew what her husband said. The woman told us: the moment she thought of practicing Falun Gong, a villager said to her, "You can't do that. Your husband died from practicing it." She said directly, "If he had continued with the practice, he wouldn't have died. It was because he was too afraid to practice that he died of illness. It's his fault for not maintaining a righteous mind." The official who told her husband that the authorities didn't allow people to practice learned of this and said, "If I knew he would die, I would have told him to practice secretly at home."
The woman said to us, "I am not afraid. I wanted to practice Falun Gong, so I kept on reading the books. My daughter said that reading the books wasn't enough. Doing the physical practice is also indispensable. So I have been looking for people to teach me the movements. Now I've found you while visiting my mother. It's so wonderful."
I dearly hope that all kind-hearted people will have a clear mind, like this woman and not be deceived or fooled by lies. Please remember what Teacher Li says in his article "Definitive Conclusion", "When all sentient beings treasure Dafa, they are treasuring their own lives and being compassionate to all sentient beings."
