Female Dafa Practitioner Chen Biyu from Fujian Province Tortured to Death

(Clearwisdom.net) Fifty-one-year old Chen Biyu, an employee of Fuzhou Industry and Business Bank, was arrested and taken from her home on September 26, 2001 for no reason other than her refusal to give up her practice of Falun Dafa. While in detention, she was subjected to various tortures. Then, though sound of mind, she was sent to a mental hospital where she was injected with powerful drugs designed to be used only on mental patients.

Fu Chunsheng, a Falun Gong Practitioner from Jilin City, Killed By Public Security Bureau Policemen

(Clearwisdom.net) Fu Chunsheng, male, age 51, lived in Fengman District of Jinlin City, Jilin Province. At a little after 8 p.m. on December 28, 2001, Dachangtun Police Station in Fengman District started a massive wave of illegal arrests of Falun Gong practitioners. At that time, Fu Chunsheng was out of the house. Around 9 p.m., when Fu returned to his home, policemen rushed up and arrested him, illegally searched his home and confiscated many Falun Dafa materials. They even arrested his wife and did not release her until the following day. The local policemen sent Fu to the Public Security Bureau of Jilin City, and they in turn transferred Fu to the Third Detention Center of Jilin City. There, the police questioned Fu about the source of his Falun Dafa materials. Because Fu refused to tell them in order to protect his fellow practitioners, the police beat and tortured him mercilessly. With a righteous mind, Fu Chunsheng did not give in and told his vicious captors sternly, "I know the source, but why would I tell you? I won't tell you anything even if you beat me to death."
