Path

Studying the Fa and doing cultivation are a person's own affair. Yet often there are quite a number of students who consistently take other people as their role models--they look at how other people do things and then follow suit. This is a kind of poor behavior developed among everyday people. A cultivator has no role models. The path each person is to take is different, because each person's foundation is different, the sizes of their various attachments are different, the characteristics of their beings are different, their jobs among everyday people are different, their family environments are different, and so on. These factors determine that each person's path of cultivation is different, that how they eliminate attachments is different, and that the sizes of their tests are different. Therefore, amidst the manifestations of things it's very hard to find a path that others have made, and it's even less possible for a person to get a ride down one.

Chinese Officials Attempt to Fabricate Video Evidence Regarding the Atrocity at the Wanjia Labor Camp

The Evilness of Changlinzi Labor Camp in Harbin City

(Clearwisdom.net) The evil mastermind in charge of the Changlinzi Labor Camp is Shi Changjing, the chief officer of the camp. Regular prisoners all fear him. And he is even more ruthless towards Dafa practitioners. He wantonly confined practitioners in small solitary compartments. [In these gloomy and damp cells, the prisoner is handcuffed in a position such that he or she can neither move about freely nor lie down. The compartments are usually full of rats and with a terrible stench as a result of prisoners not being allowed to use normal bathroom facilities and having to relieve themselves in their solitary confinement cell. The prisoner is also starved, given only half a meal a day.]Each confinement period could be as long as half a month. Shi continuously punished any steadfast practitioners in Dafa cultivation by confining them in these solitary compartments.

The Persecution I Experienced in Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a Falun Gong practitioner who was released not long ago from the Jinzhou City Labor Camp in Liaoning Province. In late February 2000, I signed my name on a letter to the People' Congress representatives and on February 29, I was illegally arrested by people from the Lingan Police Station in my residential area. On the second day after my arrest I was sentenced to a 30 day detention. Later I was transferred to a "learning class" [in fact, a brainwashing class]. After that, I was detained for another 50 days in Jinzhou City' No. 2 Detention Center. In the end, I was sentenced to 1 year of detention in Jinzhou City' Labor Camp. On the second day after I was transferred to the labor camp, together with other prisoners, I was forced to start doing heavy physical labor. After the one-year term was over, I should have been released. However, the labor camp personnel did not release me for another half year beyond my detention time.
