Dafa Practitioner Zhao Yayun Tortured to Death in the Wanjia Labor Camp

[Minghui Net] Zhao Yayun, female, 54, is a resident in the Lequn Village of Shuangcheng City, Heilongjiang Province. In July 2000, she was unlawfully taken from her home and detained in the Second Detention Center of Shuangcheng City. Because she refused to compromise with the evil, she was sent to the Wanjia Labor Camp in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province one month later.

Dafa Practitioner Xiao Xingai from Hengshui City, Hebei Province, Was Tortured to Death

[Minghui Net]

Xiao Xingai was a 39 year-old female who worked at a paper factory in Hengshui City. She was in good health before being tortured to death. On the evening of December 20, 2000, she was followed and arrested by the police for posting leaflets that proclaimed "Falun Dafa Is Good." On December 22, Xiao Xingai was brutally beaten by the police during their interrogation. A policeman named Li Qiang cruelly punished Xiao Xingai by forcing her to stand with one foot on the floor, while holding one hand above her head. She was forced to stand in this manner for half a day, making her perspire heavily and causing her severe pain. In the evening she was then illegally sent to the First Detention Center of Hengshui City.

Large Scale Abuse at the Harbin City Wanjia Labor Camp Kills Two More Practitioners -- Zhang Yulan, 55 and Zhao Yayun, 54 are the Victims

[Falun Dafa Information Center Reported on 6/29/01 ] According to information from China, In mid June, cases of large-scale abuse resulting in the deaths of Falun Gong practitioners have occurred in the Wanjia Labor Camp of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. Four death cases have been confirmed. Because this labor camp blocked all information, not all of the victim' names were made known. The confirmed victims are 55 year-old Zhang Yulan and 54 year-old Zhao Yayun, both female. It has been reported that many family members are on their way to the labor camp. This case has created a sensation. Officials from the central government and local office have gone there in person for inspection.
