South East Asian Conference of Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Held in Singapore

On December 1, 2001, South East Asian Conference of Falun Dafa Experience Exchange was held in Singapore. In the auditorium, golden light glimmered and countless Falun flew all over the hall. Everyone present experienced the special phenomenon.

Retired Teacher Zeng Fanshu of Jiangjin City, Chongqing Municipality, Dies of Abuse in a Local Brainwashing Class

(Clearwisdom.net) Zeng Fanshu, female, 56-years-old, was a retired teacher from Xiangtang Elementary School in Jiangjin City, Chongqing Municipality. Because of her firm belief in Falun Dafa, police conducted an illegal search of her home on January 11, 2001, and forcibly took her to "Jiangjin City [Social] Order Restoration Brainwashing Class." In order to extract information on other Falun Gong practitioners from her, brainwashing class personnel subjected her to continuous rounds of mental abuse with various threats. As a result, Zeng Fanshu died on February 1, 2001.

Member of the European Parliament hosts a Falun Gong and Human Rights Seminar

On 29 November 2001 Michael Gahler, a German Member of the European Parliament, hosted a seminar with the title "Dialogue about Falun Gong and Human Rights in China" in Brussels in Belgium. This seminar was attended by MEPs and representatives of Amnesty International, the Jubilee Campaign (a group representing religious rights in China), representatives of other human rights groups, Falun Gong practitioners and official Chinese newspaper journalists.
