According to reports from foreign news agencies, the state-controlled newspapers in Mainland China are now launching another propaganda offensive against Falun Gong. Their writing is in the style of the propaganda attacks that were used during the Cultural Revolution in which they accused a former Chinese leader and his close circle of being "traitors," "secret agents of the enemy," "enemies of the state," and "agents of U. S. imperialism."

Such statements are clearly politically motivated and so full of government rhetoric that can only be laughable. Let's take a look at the ethical standards of the "key person" behind these writings -- a person who imported a very expensive airplane for his personal use while countless citizens are losing their jobs and facing poverty in the current economic situation, a person who promoted his own son, who lacked the credentials, to become the vice president of the Chinese Academy of Science. It is absurd for such a person who abuses the power of the country to pretend to be righteous.

Motivated by personal inadequacy and selfishness, this "key person" tried to promote his authority through persecuting a specially selected group of people who have faith in the principles of truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance. During this suppression, over the past year, he and his followers have scapegoated individuals solely on the basis of their spiritual beliefs and have committed numerous horrific crimes against them. What has surprised this corrupt group the most is the astounding fortitude and compassion demonstrated by these honest people who believe in truthfulness, compassion, and forbearance. With their flesh and blood, they tenaciously safeguard the pure land of their spiritual belief. They do not flinch or compromise, not even a bit, in the face of death. Compared against the actions of this group of people, any evildoer's crimes and weaknesses are bound to be exposed over and over again to the world.

Although the "key person" and his followers have once again attacked kindhearted citizens, under the guise of the Chinese Government and as the "representatives" of the Chinese people, the official editorial has only further revealed that this small group of perpetrators is all talk and swagger but is actually faint of heart. Their true nature can easily be recognized.
