Candidates running for congress met with voters, and discussed the Chinese Communist Party’s influence on U.S. society, politics, and culture. During media interviews, these candidates also condemned the CCP’s transnational repression of Shen Yun Performing Arts and Falun Gong.
Forty-nine Chinese people announced their resignations from the CCP organizations during the event. As one official said, “The growing tide of withdrawals signifies the awakening of the Chinese people.”
Tourists who couldn’t read the flyers in Spanish waited patiently for practitioners to find a flyer in their language so that they could understand what the event was about. Many then signed the petition.
