(Minghui.org) Practitioners held an event at Marienplatz in the heart of Munich on August 22, 2026. They demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and told people how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes Falun Gong, including the atrocity of removing organs from practitioners while they are alive.
The event garnered strong support from the public, and many people signed a petition calling on the German government to help stop the forced organ harvesting in China. An exercise demonstration along with the soothing music attracted many passersby. Some imitated the practitioners’ movements, while others learned the exercises on the spot.

Anil, a childcare worker in Munich, wanted to learn the Falun Gong exercises after talking to a practitioner. He quickly stubbed out his cigarette, set down the bags he was carrying, and earnestly followed the practitioner to learn the movements. Afterwards he said it felt “like being reborn.”
“This is my culture,” Anil said, pointing toward the sky, “I think I am in the wrong country and I need to go home.” He emphasized, “We have to go home.”
Speaking of Falun Gong’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Anil said they were “more important than anything else,” and “we must forgive everyone, whether it be parents, siblings, or even ourselves. We are nothing; everything comes from above. We must go with the flow and must not think we can do whatever we want. We must listen and act, rather than just paying lip service.”
Speaking of the 27-year-long persecution, Anil said that it was very sad. He believed that people should follow [Falun Gong’s] principles, meditate, and love everyone and oneself. He added that one cannot always think only about money, “otherwise people go crazy.”
He thought no matter what one believes, “the important thing is to believe. Faith is stronger than hate.” After he meditated he signed the petition calling for an end to the persecution.

Ms. Netter, who worked as a caregiver at a special-needs primary and secondary school before retiring, talked with a practitioner after she signed the petition. She saw a large banner about the Chinese Communist Party’s live organ harvesting, and said to the Falun Gong practitioners, “I saw it from far away and wanted to see and hear what it was about. A gentleman explained it very clearly to me. I said, ‘Okay, I’ll sign.’”
“I find the persecution appalling; I support making sure this is no longer possible. I just find it inhumane. It’s simple, the rich get everything, and the poor suffer the consequences.”
Ms. Netter said she felt a peaceful atmosphere at the Falun Gong practitioners’ event site. She appreciated Falun Gong’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and said that these are “the foundation of life” and “only in this way can people live together.”
She supports Falun Gong practitioners publicly exposing the CCP’s persecution, as this sparks curiosity and draws greater public attention. “Then pressure from the outside might help the CCP stop doing it.” She said.
