(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Mr. Zhang Junjia was scheduled to appear at the Dadong District Court on August 11, 2026.
Ms. Qu Lihong was scheduled to stand trial at the Dadong District Court on August 18, 2026.
Ms. Jian Yicong’s second hearing by the Jingyang District Court was scheduled for August 19, 2026.
Ms. Zhang Jun was arrested at home by officers from the Dawangzhuang Police Station on July 30, 2026. She was admitted to the Weifang City Detention Center, despite her systolic blood pressure being over 200 mmHg, much higher than the normal level of 120 mmHg. She was scheduled to stand trial at the Fangzi District Court on August 11, 2026.
Ms. Wang Su’ai and her daughter-in-law Lele (nickname), Liu Xinshe, and Suying, last name unknown, were arrested by Beiwangli Town Police Station officers on August 6, 2026, for talking to people about Falun Gong. They were taken to the Shijiazhuang City Second Detention Center the following day.
Li Chenghui was arrested by local police on June 5, 2026. Li was detained in the Mian County Detention Center and released on June 12, 2026.
Ms. Liu Jinying and her husband, Mr. Zhang Dongsheng, were arrested in early August 2026. Their detention locations are unknown.
Ms. Zhang Xiuqi was arrested on August 4, 2026, and has been held at the Laishui City Lockup.
Ms. Wang Wenling was arrested at home on the morning of August 7, 2026. Her home was ransacked. She was released in the evening.
Ms. Gao Shuzhen was arrested on July 26, 2022, and later sentenced to four years in prison. She was released from the Shandong Province Women’s Prison on July 29, 2026.
Ms. Yuan Hong, 57, was arrested on May 10, 2025, by officers from the Longhua Road Police Station and the Tiefeng District Domestic Security Division. Her home was ransacked. She was held in the Qiqihar City Detention Center before being released on bail for one year. The police kept harassing her after her release. They indicated that they were preparing to submit her case to the local procuratorate.
