After a grand march and rally in London on Saturday, July 18, 2026, Falun Gong practitioners in the UK, together with Europe’s Tian Guo Marching Band, held a day of activities in central London on July 19, 2026.

Throughout the bustling streets and alleys, the practitioners’ peaceful resilient figures were a constant presence, continuously exposing the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) brutal persecution, which has persisted for the past 27 years.

Peaceful Procession Marches Through Central London From the Chinese Embassy to Trafalgar Square

The march started at 12 noon in front of the Chinese Embassy in England, passing by some of London’s busiest areas, including Oxford Street, Piccadilly Circus, and Chinatown, before finally arriving at Trafalgar Square. With its orderly formation, solemn atmosphere, and vibrant colors, the procession drew crowds of onlookers, many of whom raised their mobile phones to capture the solemn scene.

After the march ended, the practitioners continued activities at landmarks, including Trafalgar Square and Chinatown, to tell people what has been happening to Falun Gong practitioners in China.

Voices From Different Countries Gathered in London

The event not only attracted large numbers of British people, but also drew tourists from around the world. One after another, people expressed their support for practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution, were shocked upon learning about the CCP’s persecution, and also shared words about cherishing freedom and the right to practice one’s faith.

American Tourist: Must Support All People Who are Fighting for Freedom of Belief

Jeffrey from the United States said, “We absolutely must support all the people who are fighting for freedom of belief in the world.” (Minghui.org)

Jeffrey, who works in the aviation industry and has frequently volunteered for political campaigns, spoke highly of the event, “We absolutely must support all those around the world who are fighting for freedom of belief. I abhor the fact that people face persecution simply for holding fast to their faith. This is a peaceful spiritual practice and I really like the message that is being conveyed by this movement. Therefore, I fully support it.”

With regard to the state of freedom in the United States in comparison to that in China, he said, “In the U.S., the government would never come knocking to arrest you simply because of your beliefs. But in China, if the government dislikes you, they can target you at will. It is truly tragic.”

Despite harboring no goodwill toward the CCP regime, he remained convinced that change would come eventually, “As long as everyone stands together, we can generate immense power. When that happens, change will happen, even if it comes bit by bit,” he said.

British Couple: "The Parade Was Thought-Provoking"

Michael and Sam said, “The entire procession exuded a noble dignity.”

Michael and Sam, a couple from Newcastle, watched the entire parade with their daughter.

Sam shared with emotion, “The parade was incredibly peaceful and thought-provoking, especially the contingent of mourners dressed in white. The deep reverence shown for the deceased was deeply moving. The entire procession exuded a noble dignity.”

Michael was also deeply struck, “It is truly heartening to see those who have passed away be remembered with such solemnity. This event raises awareness among more people about the persecution, a tragedy that should never have happened.”

When they learned that the persecution has been going on for the past 27 years, the couple found it unbelievable and said that they will look into it further when they get back to Newcastle.

Marketing Manager: The Chinese People Will One Day Shake Off the Shackles of Communism

Another visitor on site was Ben, who specifically emphasized the need to distinguish between China and the CCP regime. “China is a great nation that has nurtured a great civilization. I look forward to the day when the Chinese people regain their freedom, allowing everyone to freely practice their beliefs and pursue their aspirations,” he said.

He also expressed confidence in the face of the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong. “I believe that one day, the Chinese people will triumph over evil and completely cast off the shackles of communism,” he said.

Chinese People Awaken and Choose to Quit the CCP and Its Affiliated Organizations

Ben’s hope is becoming a reality. As the information about Falun Gong spreads, an increasing number of Chinese people overseas are awakening and taking the initiative to sever ties with the CCP regime.

At a location in Chinatown, where practitioners talk to people about Falun Gong, two Chinese female students, who were around 17 years old, were drawn by the peaceful scene of practitioners meditating quietly. They returned to watch the meditation, and went up to talk with a practitioner.

When the topic touched on the Young Pioneers and the Youth League, and the oath they took as Young Pioneers “to dedicate one’s life to communism,” the two girls suddenly came to a realization, and solemnly declared their withdrawals from the Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers. After withdrawing, they smiled with relief.

Similar awakening stories kept happening during the two-day event. Ms. Zhou distributed flyers during the activities, and explained to people what has been happening to Falun Gong in China. She helped eight Chinese people declare their withdrawals from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
