(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 26 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

8. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Yaming Released From Prison
9. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liang Fajie Harassed
10. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Facing Indictment

1. [Benxi County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Xiaoxia Detained

Ms. Li Xiaoxia was arrested at home by Xiaoshi Town Police Station officers on April 24, 2026. She was carried away on a stretcher and held in the Benxi Railway Hospital.

2. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Yu Junjie and Mr. Yin Shouquan Arrested

Mr. Yu Junjie and Mr. Yin Shouquan were arrested on the evening of April 20, 2026, by officers from the Songbei District Police Department.

3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Chen Yanchun Arrested

Ms. Chen Yanchun was arrested at the end of March 2026.

4. [Wuxue City, Hubei Province] Seven Practitioners Detained

Seven practitioners were arrested in April 2026. Mr. Chen Guangyu is being held in the Wuxue Detention Center, while Ms. Gao Yan, Ms. Chen Hua, Ms. Liu Xiaomei, Ms. Zhang Baoqiong, and Ms. Ke Guie are in the Huanggang Detention Center. Where Mr. Liao Yuanhua is being detained is unclear.

5. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Four Practitioners Arrested or Harassed

Ms. Huang Yinglian, a retired teacher from Daya Middle School, and Yajie, last name unknown, were arrested on April 23, 2026. Ms. Huang was released the next day.

Ms. Li Guohua and Shuhua, last name known, were harassed on April 23, 2026. Officers from the Dianbai District Domestic Security Division searched Ms. Li’s home and confiscated her Falun Gong books.

6. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Rui Detained

Ms. Han Rui was reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong on March 27, 2026. She was arrested at home by Shengjing Police Station officers the next day. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books, computer, and cell phones. She was then taken to the police station for interrogation. Although the police released her later that day, they arrested her again the next day and have held her in custody ever since.

7. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Pang Xinlian Arrested

Ms. Pang Xinlian was harassed at home on the evening of April 22, 2026, by three officers from the Wutu Police Station and village official Zhang Desheng.

Ms. Pang was taken to the Qiaoguan Police Station the next morning. When the police ordered her to renounce Falun Gong, she refused to comply. Due to her high blood pressure, she was released that morning.

8. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Yaming Released From Prison

Ms. Zhang Yaming was released on April 12, 2026, after serving a two-year prison term.

9. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Liang Fajie Harassed

Ms. Liang Fajie and her husband were searched at the Changchun City Railway Station on April 8, 2026. The couple were on their way to Beijing to visit a doctor. The police confiscated her computer and forced her to fingerprint a document before allowing them to board the train.

10. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Facing Indictment

Five practitioners were arrested by officers from the Xinxing District Police Department at the end of January 2026. They are: Mr. Yang Shuguang, Ms. Wang Qingrong, Ms. Yin Shuling, Ms. Wu Shiyang, and Wu Chenghua. Their cases have been submitted to the Taoshan District Procuratorate.

11. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Peirong Detained

Ms. Yang Peirong was arrested at home on April 13, 2026, for talking to people about Falun Gong. The police confiscated her copy of Zhuan Falun, the main text of Falun Gong. She was detained for 13 days and released on April 26, 2026.

12. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Sufang Under Residential Surveillance

Ms. Wang Sufang, 76, was arrested by Zhanqian Police Station officers in October 2025 for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was detained for 10 days. After she was released, she was placed under residential surveillance.
