(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 35 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Yuling Detained
8. [Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Shuqin Sentenced to Three Years and Four Months in Prison

1. [Shen County, Shandong Province] Sixteen Practitioners Facing Trial

Arrested in a police sweep at the end of 2025, 16 practitioners were scheduled to stand trial in mid-April 2026.

2. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Chen Xiuying and Mr. Du Xiaoxin Facing Trial

Ms. Chen Xiuying and Mr. Du Xiaoxin were arrested in July 2025. They were scheduled to stand trial at the Weicheng District Court on April 15, 2026

3. [Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Song Ruixiang Appeals Wrongful Sentencing

Ms. Song Ruixiang was sentenced to two and a half years on March 11, 2026. She has appealed with the Daqing City Intermediate Court.

4. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wu Tiancong Sentenced to Eight Months in Prison

Mr. Wu Tiancong was arrested by Xiangyang Town Police Station officers in August 2025. He has been sentenced to eight months in prison.

5. [Huangmei County, Hubei Province] Mr. Fu Canhua and Ms. Shen Jinye Harassed

Mr. Fu Canhua and Ms. Shen Jinye were harassed by three officers from the Konglong Town Police Station on April 5, 2026. This was the third time they had been harassed this year. The officers ransacked their homes and photographed and videotaped them without their permission.

6. [Mianzhu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yin Guangsu Detained

Ms. Yin Guangsu was arrested on April 8, 2026, while talking to people about Falun Gong. She is currently held at the Deyang City Detention Center.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Yuling Detained

Ms. Wang Yuling was arrested at home by Guangying Police Station officers around mid-April 2026. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books, a photo of Falun Gong’s founder, and large amount of paper bills printed with Falun Gong information. She is currently held at the Chaoyang District Detention Center.

8. [Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Shuqin Sentenced to Three Years and Four Months in Prison

Ms. Li Shuqin was arrested by Dongcheng Police Station officers on August 12, 2025. Her home was ransacked. She was sentenced to three years and four months in prison by the Yilan County Court in December 2025.

9. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Fu Xiumin Faces Prison Sentence

Ms. Fu Xiumin was arrested by Dalian City Domestic Security Division officers at an unknown time and has been detained since. As she refused to renounce Falun Gong, the authorities threatened to sentence her to three years.

10. [Donggang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Mei Detained

Ms. Liu Mei was arrested by Xiangyang Police Station officers in mid-April 2026, when she was talking to people about Falun Gong. She is currently held at the Dandong City Detention Center.

11. [Tianjin] Practitioner Li Yuxiang Facing Trial

Li Yuxiang was recently indicted, and the prosecutor has recommended a three year sentence for Li.

12. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Wu Xianli was arrested at home by officers from the Guangdong Police Station on April 9, 2026. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books and computer. She is currently held at the Wuhan City First Detention Center.

Two more practitioners, Zhou Teng and Huang Li, were also arrested at the same time.

13. [Tianjin] Ms. Guo Jia Sentenced to Two Years and Ten Months in Prison

Ms. Guo Jia from Wuqing District was arrested on September 3, 2025. She was sentenced to two years and ten months in prison in the first instance. After appealing, the original sentenced was upheld. Ms. Guo Jia was transferred from the Wuqing District Detention Center to the Xiqing Women’s Prison on April 9, 2026.

14. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Practitioner Li Arrested

A practitioner surnamed Li was arrested at home by three officers from the Yingbin Road Police Station on March 21, 2026. Li was taken to the Weizigou Lockup, but was denied admission due to health reasons. Li was then released.

15. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Rongxin and His Wife, Ms. Guo Lizhi, Detained

Mr. Li Rongxin, 71, and his wife, Ms. Guo Lizhi, 69, were arrested on February 5, 2026. The police ransacked their home and confiscated their Falun Gong books and printer. Ms. Guo was detained for 37 days and released on bail. Mr. Li is still being held at the Huanggu Detention Center.
