(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 4 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
1. [Dancheng County, Henan Province] Ms. Xu Xiuying Arrested
2. [Yishui County, Shandong Province] Ms. Wu Yuying Arrested
3. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Chang Zheng Released from Prison
4. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuling Harassed
1. [Dancheng County, Henan Province] Ms. Xu Xiuying Arrested
Ms. Xu Xiuying, in her 70s, was arrested on September 3, 2025, by officers from the Dancheng County Political Security Division and the Nanguan Police Station, for posting Falun Gong materials. She was detained for seven days.
Ms. Xu was arrested again in early February 2026, after being reported for talking to people about Falun Gong at the border between Dancheng County and Anhui Province. She is being held in the Fuyang City Detention Center in Anhui Province for 15 days, and has been denied family visitation.
2. [Yishui County, Shandong Province] Ms. Wu Yuying Arrested
Ms. Wu Yuying was arrested in early February 2026 by village officials and officers from the Domestic Security Division and the Yuandongtou Town Police Station. They scaled the fence to break into her home. She is currently being held at the Linyi City Detention Center.
3. [Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Ms. Chang Zheng Released from Prison
Ms. Chang Zheng was released on February 5, 2026, after serving a 4.5-year term.
4. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuling Harassed
Ms. Zhang Xiuling was harassed at home in mid-February 2026 by Guanshui Town Police Station officers in Mouping District. They took photos around her rooms.
