(Minghui.org) People enjoyed the Tian Guo Marching Band in Montreal’s 201st St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 22, 2026. One spectator said that the band’s message of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance “is an inspiration for everyone.”
Started in 1824, the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Montreal is Canada’s oldest and longest-running parade. The once religious event has become an annual community celebration during which people celebrate Irish traditions and the arrival of spring. Every year, thousands of people line the streets to see the parade.
It snowed on the day of the parade, but the cold didn’t dampen people’s enthusiasm. Ninety-two floats, bands, and community groups started off at Fort Street and headed east along Maisonneuve Boulevard. Spectators along the route cheered and clapped. The crowd was often heard shouting “Falun Dafa” when the band marched by.
