(Minghui.org) A 62-year-old man in Huadian City, Jilin Province, was admitted to the Jilin Province Prison on January 21, 2026, to serve a 5.5-year term for his faith in Falun Gong, a mind-body practice that has been persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party since July 1999.
Mr. Fu Renjiang was arrested on February 11, 2025, by Qixin Police Station officers. They put him in the Huadian City Detention Center. It is unclear when the Huadian City Court tried him.
This is not the first time that Mr. Fu has been targeted for his faith. Prior to his latest prison sentence, he served two forced labor terms totaling four years (2001-2002 & 2005-2008), and two prison sentences totaling eight and a half years (2010-2013 & 2018 – 2023).
