(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 21 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

4. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Lianguang Arrested, Ms. Cheng Yuzhi Harassed
5. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Zhang Shaohui Arrested
6. [Anlu City, Hubei Province] Ms. Fang Zongju Detained
7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Qiuzhen Arrested
8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Shuyi Arrested
9. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wei Jiangmei Harassed
10. [Xinle City, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

1. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Suzi Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Li Suzi, from Henan Province, who lived with her daughter in Qingdao City, Shandong Province, was arrested in Qingdao and taken to Pudong Detention Center in Jimo District. She was tried on September 9, 2026, and sentenced to three years in prison. Her daughter is filing an appeal on her behalf.

2. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Xueyan and Her Husband, Mr. Lyu Jie, Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xueyan and her husband, Mr. Lyu Jie, were arrested by officers from the Gaocheng District Domestic Security Division and Lianzhou Police Station on September 10, 2026. Their computers and other belongings were confiscated.

3. [Guangping County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Haiyan Arrested

Ms. Li Haiyan’s seed store was ransacked. She was arrested and taken to a detention center.

4. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Lianguang Arrested, Ms. Cheng Yuzhi Harassed

Mr. Zhang Lianguang was arrested at home around 11 a.m. on September 2, 2026. The police confiscated a large number of his personal belongings and some cash.

Ms. Cheng Yuzhi was harassed on September 8, 2026, and her personal belongings were confiscated.

5. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Practitioner Zhang Shaohui Arrested

Practitioner Zhang Shaohui was arrested by Beidao Police Station officers around September 9, 2026.

6. [Anlu City, Hubei Province] Ms. Fang Zongju Detained

Ms. Fang Zongju was arrested on July 31, 2026. The police notified her older sister of her arrest, but refused to reveal her detention location. Her family finally confirmed in September 2026 that she is being held at the Yingcheng Detention Center.

7. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Qiuzhen Arrested

Ms. Zhang Qiuzhen was reported to the police while distributing Falun Gong materials. She was arrested by officers from the Shihuiyao Police Station on August 22, 2026, and her home was ransacked.

8. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Shuyi Arrested

Ms. Liu Shuyi was shopping at a wholesale store on August 21, 2026, when two plainclothes officers arrested her and took her to the Zhongchang Police Station. They accused her of talking to people about Falun Gong on November 25, 2025.

Ms. Liu was detained for 15 days in the Dalian City Detention Center, and released on September 5.

9. [Binzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wei Jiangmei Harassed

Ms. Wei Jiangmei was harassed at home by two officers from the Shidong Police Station in September 2026. They took photos of her and said they would return every month to “check on her.”

10. [Xinle City, Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Arrested

The Xinle City police began harassing and arresting local Falun Gong practitioners on September 1, 2026. Over ten practitioners, including Ms. Wu Cuijuan and Zhang Xinran, gender unknown, have been arrested and taken to Shijiazhuang City Second Detention Center. Ms. Wu was released on September 8, and Zhang remains detained.

11. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Chang Yufang, Ms. Chang Yujin, and Zhang Ping, gender unknown, were arrested around September 8, 2026. The homes of Ms. Chang Yufang and Ms. Chang Yujin were both ransacked. The police confiscated a large number of paper currency bills with Falun Gong information printed on them from Ms. Chang Yufang’s home.

12. [Longyao County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Chaoli and Ms. Li Xiaoli Arrested

Ms. Wang Chaoli was arrested on August 26, 2026, and released on September 11.

Ms. Li Xiaoli was arrested at around 9 p.m. on August 31, 2026, and given 15 days of detention.

13. [Shahe City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Lihua Detained

Ms. Wang Lihua was arrested by officers from the Yongnian District Domestic Security Division and is currently being held in the Handan City Third Detention Center.

14. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Qin Yueling was arrested on August 31, 2026, by Xinhua Street Police Station officers. She was held at the Zhangjiakou City Lockup for six days.

Ms. Liu Ying was arrested on September 10, also by Xinhua Street Police Station officers. She has been detained since.

Practitioner Li was arrested by Dajingmen Police Station officers on September 11.
