(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Geng Guopei, 74; Ms. Zhang Jingzhi, 65; Ms. Wang Jinghao, in her 60s; and a male practitioner, name unknown, were arrested at a community market on September 16, 2026.
Ms. Bo Wenqin, 71, was arrested at home on September 11, 2026. The police ransacked her place and confiscated her Falun Gong-related items.
Ms. Wang Zhaorong has been missing since January 2026.
Ms. Wang Zhongxia, in her 80s; Ms. Tan Guiqin, 75; and Ms. Xu Feng, 71, were arrested while studying Falun Gong books together on September 14, 2026, by officers from the Bin County Domestic Security Division and the Xicheng Police Station. Ms. Wang and Ms. Xu were released that night. Ms. Tan was held in custody.
Ms. Wang Xiaohua was arrested on September 15, 2026, after someone reported her for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was given 10 days at the Dongguang County Detention Center.
Song Zaiyi, gender unknown, around 70, was arrested on August 5, 2026, by officers from the Houzhen Police Station. Song’s home was ransacked. Song is being held in the Shouguang City Lockup.
Ms. Xiao Huandi and Ms. Hou Junyan talked to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Beiyang Village Open Market on May 12, 2026, and were reported. The Boye County Police Department officers took Ms. Xiao to the police department for a deposition on September 13. The police failed to find Ms. Hou, and they harassed her husband instead.
Ms. Chen Xiumei’s home was ransacked on May 28, 2026, by officers from the Jingxiu District Police Department, Jingxiu District Domestic Security Division, the Xinshiqu Police Station, and the Xianfeng Street Police Station. They confiscated her Falun Gong books and other items.
Mr. Zhou Hongliang was released on September 8, 2026, after serving a 3.5-year term.
