(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 6 provinces, where at least 12 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Ms. Yu Chunjie Facing Trial

Ms. Yu Chunjie, 73, was arrested during a police sweep on August 28, 2025. Her home was ransacked. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books, informational materials, and computer. She is now in the Changchun City Women’s Prison. She has been indicted, and the prosecutor recommended she be sentenced to three to seven years in prison.

2. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Xiao Bo Detained

Mr. Xiao Bo was arrested by officers from the Huancui District Police Department on October 27, 2025. She has been detained ever since and was recently issued a formal official arrest.

3. [Tianjin] Ms. Gu Shuyan Arrested

Ms. Gu Shuyan from the Wuqing District was arrested in late December 2025.

4. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Zhiyun Arrested

Ms. Zhang Zhiyun was arrested at home by four officers on December 3, 2025, after she was recorded by surveillance cameras while distributing Falun Gong informational materials. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a computer, a printer, and Falun Gong books.

5. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Chunyan Arrested

Ms. Wang Chunyan was arrested in late December 2025.

6. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Zhiqing Arrested

Mr. Liu Zhiquing was reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong at a farmers’ market and was arrested by Cunliji Town Police Station officers on December 28, 2025. The police confiscated his Falun Gong materials and paper currency Falun Gong messages printed on the bills. He was released on bail around midnight, after he was denied admission by the Yantai City Detention Center due to a medical condition.

7. [Wanzai County, Jiangxi Province] Four Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Peng Xiaoling was harassed several times in November 2025, by the police and community staff members. They took photo of her against her will and ordered her to sign some documents, which she refused to do.

Ms. Wang Duanxiu was harassed at home around mid-November 2025. The police attempted to take a sample of her blood, but she refused to let them.

Ms. Long Zhengxiu was harassed at home on December 19, 2025. The police ransacked her home and confiscated her Falun Gong books and some clothes. They also took photos of her.

Ms. Guo Yunying was harassed on December 20, 2025.

8. [Mulan County, Heilongjiang Province] Practitioner Hou Guofan Arrested

Hou Guofan, 77, was arrested at home by Deng Lijun from the Lidong Township Police Station on December 28, 2025.

9. [Beijing] Mr. Liu Yaping Detained

Mr. Liu Yuping was arrested by officers from the Daxingzhuang Police Station and Pinggu District Domestic Security Division on December 8, 2025. He was restrained in a chair while being interrogated at the police station. He was taken to the Shunyi District Lockup the next day and held for nine days. Because he insisted on doing the Falun Gong exercises, the guards reprimanded him and handcuffed and shackled him. He was released on December 18, 2025.

10. [Chenggu County, Shaanxi Province] Mr. Li Zhihua Detained

Mr. Li Zhihua was arrested at home on December 3, 2025, and taken to the Yang County Lockup. He was released on bail on December 17, 2025.
