(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

7. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Li Yufen Faces Prison Sentence
8. [Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province] Four Practitioners Detained
9. [Guangshui City, Hubei Province] Ms. Han Yufang Searched in Train Station

1. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Mr. Wang Zhanxiang Arrested

Mr. Wang Zhanxiang was arrested at home by several officers from the Guangdegong Town Police Station and Ongniud Banner Police Department on the morning of August 18, 2025.

2. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Rurong Arrested

Ms. Wang Rurong was arrested by police on August 12, 2025 after being reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. Her home was ransacked. It is unknown where she is detained.

3. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Guizhen Arrested

Ms. Li Guizhen, 72, was arrested at home by local police on the afternoon of August 19, 2025.

4. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] Two Sisters Missing

Two sisters surnamed Qi have gone missing since August 16, 2025.

5. [Xiantao City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yang Dongmei Released from Prison

Ms. Yang Dongmei was released from prison on August 6, 2025 after serving a term of two years and three months.

6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Dai Fenglan, Ms. Dong Xiuyun and Ms. Ma Qiulan were harassed at their homes by three officers from the Huanggezhuang Town Police Station on August 14, 2025. The police took photos of the practitioners.

7. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Li Yufen Faces Prison Sentence

Ms. Li Yufen was arrested on April 25, 2025. The police submitted her case to the Bairin Left Banner Procuratorate seven days later. The prosecutor indicted her on July 25, 2025, and recommended sentencing her to a six-year term with a fine.

8. [Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Liu Chunqin, Mr. Li Qingjun, Ms. Zheng Qiong and Ms. Liu Xueqin are among those arrested on July 21 and 22, 2025 during a police sweep. Ms. Liu Chunqin and Mr. Li are still detained in the Zhuzhou City Detention Center. Ms. Zheng was given a 15-day detention and her current situation isn’t clear. Ms. Liu Xueqin was released on July 28, 2025.

9. [Guangshui City, Hubei Province] Ms. Han Yufang Searched in Train Station

While Ms. Han Yufang, over 70, was waiting for a train at the Guangshui Railway Station on August 15, 2025 for a trip to Xiaogan City in the same province, four railway officers took her from the waiting room to the security office. They checked her purse and searched her. They didn’t find any Falun Gong related materials and let her go.
