The Minghui Website Accompanied Me through All These Trying Years

July 2, 2025 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) I’m a young Dafa practitioner, who began practicing Falun Dafa with my parents in elementary school. Fellow practitioners introduced us to Minghui.org and provided technical support, allowing us to access it online from home.

I was ten years old then, and my family knew nothing about computers. We took notes on how to navigate to get to Minghui.org, how to log in to the Minghui website’s internal mailbox and how to submit a list of people who have withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.

My parents found it challenging to handle all this, but I was very keen to learn, and became the leading computer operator in my family. As I typed on the keyboard, I tried to remember the location of each letter and symbol, checking to ensure that the characters displayed on the screen matched what I had typed. Sometimes, it took me a long time to locate the letters I wanted, and I often made spelling mistakes, which made things even more difficult. However, I didn’t give up. I practiced time after time, until I became more skillful on the computer.

Sixteen years have passed since that time. At the beginning, I only knew that as Dafa practitioners we should browse Minghui.org more often so that we could read Master’s new articles promptly and stay informed about what is going on in various parts of China. Additionally, we can send our greetings to our revered Master during festival times. Minghui.org has become my best friend over the years!

Having Minghui.org as my companion helps me resist the various temptations in society. I refuse to go along with them. When I was on my own away from home, I never felt lonely or helpless without fellow practitioners around me. During times when I struggled with human attachments or felt uncertain about my path, our compassionate Master always dropped me hints through Minghui.org, guiding me to read relevant sharing articles to show me the way.

During our company’s restructuring, I heard that a leader with a pretty bad reputation, known for treating employees harshly, was going to be transferred to our section as the supervisor. I felt disappointed when I heard the news, thinking that it would be more difficult for me. I wasn’t happy with the company changes and felt quite emotional, to the point of considering leaving my job.

That evening, when I logged on to Minghui.org, I came across an article titled “A Single Thought of a Cultivator.” It struck me that any thought we hold as Dafa practitioners might have an impact on what’s going on around us. I realized I should let things happen naturally and avoid negative thinking. True cultivation comes with trials and tribulations, through which we can improve ourselves. I recognized that I shouldn’t consider leaving my job just because I felt unhappy with the environment. Actually, this revealed my attachment to comfort, and I must let it go.

I also read another article, “Master Has Made the Best Arrangements for Me,” and surprisingly, I found it was a sharing article I’d submitted earlier. Because the Minghui editor edited the title of my sharing, I didn’t realize it was my own.

I felt really ashamed for my wrong thinking earlier. The article reminded me to examine every thought I have based on the Fa principles, emphasizing that the current arrangement was the best one. As a result, I decided to let go of the idea of leaving my job

A few years ago, I faced some technical problems with my computer. During that time I came across an article on Minghui.org that provided insights on accessing and sharing articles on related issues. I realized that nothing happens by chance; it felt as though Master was encouraging me to learn how to solve those problems myself with the help of fellow practitioners who had the technical expertise. I gained a lot of knowledge from them, and in the end I resolved the issues.

These days, I have become very proficient on the keyboard and I’m now able to deal with certain technical issues on my own.

I sincerely thank Minghui.org on its 26th anniversary, and I believe many fellow practitioners share my sentiment.
