(Minghui.org) Practitioners held activities at Châtelet in the center of Paris on July 5 and 15, 2025. They did the Falun Dafa exercises, told people about the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution, and collected signatures on a petition calling to end the brutality. Local residents and tourists signed the petition and encouraged practitioners to keep up their efforts.

After musician Hervé Bouffartigues read about the persecution on the display boards he said, “This must end soon. No discussion is needed. The evidence and the facts are clear and beyond any doubt, we must put an end to this. This is horrific and it must stop.”
Florestan Bencherki is a civil servant and said he heard many discussions about the Tiananmen Square Massacre. As time went by, and with the various events that happened, as well as the CCP’s persecution of the Uyghurs, he knew that the Chinese regimes censors information on many issues.
He talked with practitioners and learned that the CCP has persecuted Falun Dafa for decades and even conducts forced organ harvesting, which made him indignant, “This is a massacre! Such cruelty is simply an anti-human act!” He said this is the first time he heard about the persecution which has gone on for 26 years. He said he would learn more and spread the information so that more people will pay attention to this topic.
Maria from Hungary teaches yoga and said, “I oppose any form of persecution.” She said that she’s long been aware that dissidents in China were severely persecuted.
She talked with practitioners and learned that in China, they are persecuted for adhering to their belief, and even subjected to the CCP state-sanctioned forced organ harvesting. She said, “If we can know about this and get information, it impacts me personally. Even if I’m not in China, I belong to this world and I feel related to it. Like everyone else, I tend to think that this is not our responsibility, but to some extent it is our responsibility. Because we are part of this world.”
Maria grew up in Hungary, a former communist country. Maria said her parents and grandparents told stories about their past experiences, so she opposes any oppression of freedom.
Gilles, a stonemason, said, “Live organ harvesting is not normal. This kind of thing should not exist at all!” He believed that this is a terrorist act that must be stopped. He said that some things in China are very difficult, but the world’s people don’t know about it because it is hidden. In short, the persecution is sad.
