(Minghui.org) My husband was jailed in a forced labor camp after the persecution of Falun Gong began, and I was forced to flee. My daughter had to drop out of school and went to work in a hotel to make a living. She met her future husband there. At first, I didn’t agree to my daughter marrying the man, because he drank so much alcohol. I later realized that marriage is arranged by heaven, so I accepted it.

My daughter didn’t want to have a child for the first four years, as she worried that his drinking and smoking would negatively affect the fetus. When they were about to divorce, my son-in-law was stabbed by a person who was drinking with him when both of them drank so much and disagreed about a trivial matter. The knife punctured his stomach and his liver. He was put in the ICU.

My daughter was still upset about his drinking and didn’t want to take care of him while he was in the hospital. “Leave him to his parents,” she said. I thought that I was a Falun Dafa practitioner, and since my son-in-law’s parents live in another city, we needed to treat him well during his most difficult period. In fact, my daughter has studied the Fa since she was young and is very kind. It’s just that she had lost her cultivation environment in recent years and was hurt by her husband’s behavior. Our entire family, my husband, our daughter, and I agreed that we would do our best to support our son-in-law.

His operation went smoothly. During his hospitalization, I visited him every day, brought him his favorite food, read the Fa to him, told him miraculous stories about Dafa and asked him to recite the two phrases, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” He was very willing to listen. He said, “Whenever I feel pain, I recite the two phrases, and the pain goes away after reciting them.”

My son-in-law was in a depressed mood one day and said angrily, “When I get better, I will make the person [who stabbed me] pay me 600,000 yuan (US $82,674), otherwise I will …” I stopped him quickly, “Let’s not do this. You know that you got better so fast because you sincerely recited the two phrases. Heaven is protecting you. And I heard that the other party’s family is not wealthy. Let’s leave the case to the court.” We had heard rumors that the other party wanted to bribe the court to get a favorable verdict. I assured my son-in-law that heaven is watching and he won’t lose anything that belongs to him.

My son-in-law was discharged from the hospital. The court later ruled that the other party should pay him 290,000 yuan (US $40,000). After deducting his medical expenses, he was able to repay part of his past debts. In the end, he still owed 40,000 yuan ($5,500) in debt.

My daughter then got pregnant, but she had her first pregnancy examination at a hospital when she was eight months pregnant. The exam showed that the child had four limbs too short compared to her head. My son-in-law immediately called his parents on the phone and they thought it was likely caused by the medications during his hospitalization.

My daughter started crying in the hospital as she was afraid of having a disabled child. I took my daughter and her husband aside and said to them, “I believe in Master and Dafa. If you entrust the child to Master, there will be no problem. If the child is really born with a disability, give the child to me to raise. If the child is healthy, you can raise her. But there is one condition. The whole family must recite the two phrases.” They agreed.

The two families waited anxiously when my daughter entered the delivery room. My granddaughter was born, and all her limbs appeared normal. But my in-laws still worried and requested a comprehensive examination. The results came out with all indicators suggesting the child was normal. My son-in-law’s whole family felt the extraordinary power of Falun Dafa. My granddaughter is already seven years old now. She is healthy, lively, and lovely.

My daughter got pregnant unexpectedly again four years later. At first, the couple didn’t want to keep the baby, because they felt it was very hard to raise one child, let alone two. Our in-laws wanted a grandson, so they came to me to have me persuade the young couple to keep the child. I reminded my daughter that Master said that abortion is killing. The child must have a predestined relationship with them to be born into their family.

A healthy baby boy was born. Our in-laws were very happy, and they often travel to our city to visit their grandson. After experiencing the mighty power of Dafa themselves, their whole family believes in Dafa and has withdrawn from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.

During the pandemic, these two children were never infected. A food poisoning incident occurred in kindergarten where my granddaughter was attending. Many children were vomiting and had to go to the hospital. My granddaughter also vomited for a whole day and night. I let her listen to Master’s teachings, and she got better. What’s even more amazing is that my granddaughter used to suffer from constipation, but her constipation was gone after she stopped vomiting.

The kindergarten decided to waive four months of tuition for each poisoned child. My son-in-law also planned to ask for compensation. I said to my daughter and son-in-law, “We practice Falun Dafa. Master said that we should be considerate when we do things. The kindergarten has had a hard time since the incident. Our child didn’t go to the hospital because she got better after listening to Master’s Fa teachings, and her constipation problem is now gone. Please let’s not ask for compensation.” My daughter and son-in-law happily agreed.

My son-in-law now believes in Dafa very much. He once twisted his back while moving things at work. He decided not to go to a hospital and recited the two phrases instead. He really healed in a few days.

During the pandemic, my son-in-law once tested positive for COVID and had a fever. He later told his wife that he recovered in just one day by reciting the two phrases. Many of his coworkers’ entire families tested positive and many were hospitalized. A coworker asked him, “Why haven’t I heard that your parents and children went to the hospital?” He said, “My mother-in-law practices Falun Dafa, and we just chant the two phrases and we are fine.”

My son-in-law also talks about Falun Dafa to his coworkers. Because of his support of Dafa, he is blessed. He never lost any pay during the pandemic. In the past two years, the economy has been in recession. His unit laid off some employees but kept him. The unit head also gave him a salary increase every year. Within a few years, his salary has almost doubled.

During the Chinese New Year this year, my son-in-law asked his son to thank me for the positive changes in his family and life. I said, “This is the blessings you get for believing in Dafa, reciting the two phrases, and respecting Master.”
