(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 12 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 16 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Zhang Fengxian, in her 80s, was arrested at home on November 29, 2025 by Funan Police Station and local community personnel, for talking to people about Falun Gong.
Mr. Kan Zhaotai and his wife Ms. Tian Lieyun were arrested at home by three officers from the Mengyin County Police Department on November 20, 2025. Their home was ransacked. The couple’s daughter was also arrested at her workplace on the same day. Three family members were taken to the Mengyin County Police Department. Two cell phones and the car were confiscated.
Mr. Lyu Zun was harassed at home by two officers from Huajia Street Police Station on November 27, 2025. The police questioned him whether he still practiced Falun Gong and photographed him.
Mr. Wang Jia’an, 76, was arrested when distributing informational materials about Falun Gong on the evening of November 7, 2025. He was detained for 15 days and released on November 21, 2025.
Shen Fan, 28, was arrested at work on November 21, 2025 by officers from the Donggang District Police Department. The police ransacked Shen’s home and confiscated printer, computer, and a paper cutter.
Mr. Wang Yongchuan was harassed at home by Shengli Road Police Station officers at 7 p.m. on November 24, 2025. They attempted to take photos but Mr. Wang stopped them.
Mr. Wang’s landlord was intimidated by Hongqilou Police Station officers in August 2025 and ordered to have evict him.
Ms. Cong Lei, 65, was arrested at the Yantai Railway Station when going back to her hometown in Anhui Province on November 18, 2025. Her home was ransacked by officers from the Longquan Police Station. She was admitted to the Fushan Detention Center and has been released on a one-year bail, with her son being her guarantor.
Ms. Zhou Bixian, in her late 60s, was arrested at home by four officers on November 24, 2025.
Ms. Xing Dongmei, Ms. Xing Chun’e, her husband Mr. Yang Qiang, and Ms. Wang Zhaomin were recently arrested at their respective homes.
Mr. Liu Yuanxing, in his 50s, was arrested at home by over ten officers from the Tianyue Police Station and Pingjiang County Domestic Security Division on November 19, 2025. The police filled nine bags with items confiscated from his home. He was first detained in the Pingjiang County Lockup and then transferred to the Pingjiang County Detention Center on November 25, 2025.
Ms. Chen Yujie was released in September 2025, after serving a five-year prison term.
