(Minghui.org) After holding a brainwashing session targeting Falun Gong practitioners between June and July 2025, the authorities in Huainan City, Anhui Province, organized another brainwashing session starting on November 3, 2025.

According to an insider, the police arrested the practitioners on their blacklist who haven’t renounced their faith. When they couldn’t find the practitioners, they harassed their families instead.

The new session was held in the Donghua Yile Ecological Park in Xiejiaji District, a venue that has a long-term partnership with the authorities. Yu Songyang and Wang Bin were in charge of the session. They also hired “experts” recommended by the provincial government to work on the practitioners, threatening to send them to detention centers if they remained firm in their faith.

Ms. Ge Xuemei started to face harassment since October 2025, when she was visiting her son’s family in the capital of Hefei to celebrate his newborn baby. The police there threatened to force her son’s landlord to evict his family.

After Ms. Ge was forced to return to Huainan, the police and residential committee staffers kept coming to harass her. During an incident on October 31, she was ordered to record a video smearing Falun Gong and its founder. She refused to comply and was arrested days later. The authorities also threatened to suspend her pension if she remained firm in practicing Falun Gong.

While arresting her, the chief of Guoqing Road Police Station pounded on the table and said to her, “If the Chinese Communist Party doesn’t allow you to practice Falun Gong, then you can’t practice it. If you want to practice it, go to other countries to do it!”

Ms. Nie Yinzhen was also among the practitioners who were taken to the brainwashing session on November 3. When the police came earlier this year, she refused to open the door for them and they broke her door instead. They returned shortly after and took her to the brainwashing session on June 16, 2025. As she remained firm in her faith, she was targeted again this time.

Ms. Xia Zehong, 61 and a former employee of the Pan’er Coal Mine, was just released in February 2025 after serving a five-year term. She was also arrested in November and taken to the brainwashing session.
