(Minghui.org) I began to practice Falun Dafa in August 1997, and only a few days after I did, all my pain and ailments were gone. I have had a healthy mind and body since then and have not taken any medicine for 27 years. I thank compassionate, great Master Li for saving me!

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched the persecution of Falun Dafa on July 20, 1999. The local police station and the town education committee gathered me and other practitioners who work in the education system to write a guarantee statement that we would not practice Falun Dafa. We were not be allowed to go home unless we did.

I wrote about the greatness of Falun Dafa and the benefits I had gained from it. Other practitioners were put on the blacklist, and their employers and the police often harassed them, but I was not harassed. I realized that Master had seen my firm determination to uphold the Fa and had removed my name from the blacklist.

I felt pressure about clarifying the truth, and I was very afraid. I had strong attachments to competitiveness and resentment, and my family was not supportive.

However, I know that our mission as Dafa practitioners is to assist Master in Fa-rectification and save sentient beings. I have continued to overcome my fears and tried my best not to miss any opportunities to clarify the truth. Over the years, I have clarified the truth to a large number of people that I have come into contact with in my work and life, and they have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

When I clarified the truth to a student who came to me to be tutored in 2014, the student’s father beat me. My family also put tremendous pressure on me because of this. I became very hesitant to clarify the truth to the students who came to me for tutoring. But I didn’t want to miss the opportunity, so I usually find an opportunity to tell the facts to the students’ parents first and then to the students.

A student came to be tutored last summer. As we talked, I learned that his father specialized in dealing with provincial officials. I knew that they must be predestined people that Master had led to me, and I could not let them miss the chance to be saved.

I copied truth-clarification materials onto a USB drive and clarified the facts to the student’s father, who agreed to withdraw from the Party. I said, “May I tell your son about it?” He said, “He can’t keep his mouth shut, so it is not appropriate to tell him.” I asked the father to advise his son after he himself understood the truth. He agreed. Before they left, the father sincerely invited me to visit him in the future.

Last summer, a mother called me and wanted me to tutor her son. I thought that she lived very far away so she must be a predestined person, too. The opportunity to clarify the truth arose when she came to my house during a lunch break on a hot day. We talked in the living room while my husband was asleep in the bedroom. During the conversation, I learned that her husband worked in the Public Security Bureau. I was scared, so I asked Master to strengthen me and I also sent forth righteous thoughts. I told her the facts about Dafa, and she agreed to withdraw from the Party. I gave her two copies of truth-clarification materials. She accepted what I said well. I asked her to tell her family about it, and she agreed. I regretted not clarifying the truth to her son in person because of my fear and selfishness.

Last summer, two months before the high school entrance exam, a mother who worked in the town government came and said that her son needed tutoring because he had only scored 70 out of 100. The student took weekend tutoring classes for two months and ended up scoring 96 on the exam—he was blessed after understanding the truth.

At that time, I didn’t have a suitable opportunity to clarify the truth to his parents, but once I wasn’t tutoring him anymore, I would not have an opportunity to clarify the truth to him. I sent forth righteous thoughts, overcame my fear, and clarified the truth to him. He accepted the truth well and quit the Party-affiliated organizations. He made the right choice, and his exam scores greatly improved.

This year I didn’t have the opportunity to clarify the truth to the parents of two students who came to me for tutoring, so I overcame my fear and clarified the truth to the two students, and both quit the Party-affiliated organizations. One scored close to full marks and was admitted to an advanced class in the best local high school. The other student used to rank 35 or below in his class of 50. He scored only 60 or 70 points in this subject. After understanding the facts, the student enlightened and his grades improved so that he ended up in the top 10 in his class.

This year, a boy came to me for tutoring. I talked to him about Dafa at break time during the last tutoring session before the high school entrance exam. He stood up and said impulsively, “Teacher, I don’t want to listen to this. Please don’t say anything more. I don’t want to study tonight, I want to go home.” He didn’t listen no matter what I said to him. I had to call his mother to pick him up. At the gate, he said, “Teacher, I have gained a lot from studying with you in such a short time. I won’t report you to the police, but you shouldn’t have told me that.”

I sat down and sent forth righteous thoughts. When I estimated that she had arrived at the school to get him, I called her to come up and have a talk. She responded by saying that she had picked up her son, but she would not come up to talk. “It’s okay, don’t worry. People have different beliefs. I felt that you were different and very kind, so I thought you might have a belief,” she said.

The mother spoke in a very reserved way. I sat down and sent forth righteous thoughts for another half an hour, then I went home. A crisis was resolved under Master’s protection.

After this incident, I realized that Dafa practitioners must be kind, or at least be good people in the eyes of ordinary people. That way,people will be more likely to accept the truth when we tell them. Even if they don’t accept it temporarily, it will lay a good foundation for them to hear the truth in the future.

I will study the Fa more and try my best to seize the opportunity to clarify the truth and save more sentient beings.
