(Minghui.org) I read the “Special Report | Our Master” published on Minghui.org. From the moment I read the title, I couldn’t hold back my tears. When I studied the Fa later, I cried again. No language can express the greatness and compassion of our Master. When I was writing this article, I also burst into tears. Master has the lead, taking care of everything, no matter how big or small, and is: 

“...full of great aspirations while minding minor details.” (“Sage,” Essentials for Further Advancement)

Practitioners can feel Master’s endless compassion and warmth. I am deeply touched! I would like to share my views about cultivation after reflecting on the simple life that Master has been living. 

I personally feel that for those of us who are physically in the materialistic secular world, it takes great willpower to be able to live a simple life. A simple life is very helpful in inhibiting and removing the attachment to comfort, and it is also very helpful for allowing us to focus on the great mission of saving people. This can be seen in the sharing articles of many elderly practitioners in their seventies, eighties, and nineties. Such elderly practitioners, although they are old, are in good spirits, and they still take care of themselves every day. They often live a simple life and are not picky about their food and clothing. They live alone and do not cause trouble for their children. They have practiced the exercises in the morning for years and persist in this very well. They study the Fa regularly, go out to clarify the truth with good results, and persuade a large number of people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Compared with them, some of our young, middle-aged, and elderly fellow practitioners (including myself) have fallen behind.

Our great Master had already demonstrated his simple lifestyle and passed this on to his disciples when he was teaching the Fa in his early years, but we didn’t understand it properly. Some practitioners did a good job in these respects, but many of us ignored it and didn’t do well.

Master thinks about his disciples in everything and has never forced or imposed the slightest thing on his disciples. He is even worried that some disciples will become accustomed to living a poor life, be too frugal, and go to extremes in the environment created by the CCP’s evil culture. Master even taught us: 

“Now of course, speaking of living conditions, if Dafa disciples have that allotted fortune then they’re free to enjoy it.” (“2012 International Fa Conference at the U.S. Capital,” Collected Fa Teachings, Vol. XII).

There are many things that Master didn’t say explicitly, but Master has done himself. Thank you, Master!
