(Minghui.org) Practitioners were once again invited to participate in the Ann Arbor Art Fair, one of the largest juried art fairs in the Midwest. The fair was held for three days, from July 18 to 20, 2024, and attracted nearly 500,000 people and 1,000 artists. The event takes place in downtown Ann Arbor and covers 30 streets.

The Falun Dafa booth featured large posters which introduced the spiritual discipline, and an English language version of Zhuan Falun, lotus flowers and informational fliers. Practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and taught them.

Many visitors expressed an interest in Falun Dafa and took fliers. One man was particularly interested in practicing, but due to his economic situation was not able to buy a book. A practitioner gave him a copy of Zhuan Falun for free. He was very thankful and said that he would read the book carefully.

The University of Michigan is located in Ann Arbor, and many Chinese students stopped at the booth. Practitioners clarified the truth about the persecution, and they accepted the fliers and origami lotus flowers.

July 20^th this year marked 25 years of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa. Many artists and visitors learned about the persecution and were shocked. One Western couple said they witnessed practitioners being arrested in Tiananmen Square over 20 years ago while they were touring Beijing. After talking with practitioners at the fair, they said they finally understood what they saw years ago.

One Western lady shed tears after she talked to a practitioner. She said she knew about Falun Dafa and the persecution, and was deeply concerned about the injustice. She was happy to meet practitioners and was interested in reading Zhuan Falun.

Many people learned about Falun Dafa as well as the CCP’s brutal persecution.
