Inspired by Minghui’s China Fahui Throughout My Cultivation Journey

Aug. 31, 2024 |   By Qin Si, a Falun Dafa practitioner in China

(Minghui.org) It’s hard to believe that it has been twenty years since the first Falun Dafa Minghui China Fahui (experience sharing conference) was held in 2004. I can still vividly recall the first time I read a published China Fahui article at a fellow practitioner's home after a Fa study session. I was eager to absorb every word.

On that day, I read the article “I Would Still Want to Be a Falun Dafa Disciple If I Were to Choose Again,” written by a young Falun Dafa disciple from the northeast region. With no other access to the Minghui website, I made the most of my time at the practitioner’s home to read.

I was a young practitioner back then, much like the author, and now I find myself a middle-aged person who has been tempered through the adversities of the past twenty years of cultivation. I am deeply grateful to the Minghui website for providing a platform for practitioners in China to exchange their experiences in writing, to the editors of Minghui for their tireless work in reviewing and refining the submitted articles, and to the practitioners in China who, despite their busy cultivation and Fa-rectification work, took the time to share their stories.

Master said,

“Brilliant are the articles your sharp pens craftpowerful are the words, rich their sentences...” (“Reading My Students’ Articles,” Hong Yin II)

For the past 20 years each Dafa disciple’s experience-sharing has contributed to an epic tapestry of cultivation and efforts to save people, as presented on the grand stage of Fa-rectification in China. Their spiritual and moral elevation, like stars, have illuminated the darkness in the midst of brutal persecution, and like streams of spring water, have gently flowed into the hearts of many readers both inside and outside of China.

I eagerly anticipate the China Fahui articles every year. I save the audio versions onto a memory card and often listen to them while doing chores at home or before going to bed. As I listen, I feel as though the authors are speaking directly to me, with sincere hearts. Their cultivation experiences and stories—whether ordinary or miraculous—reflect their rationality and wisdom, and have touched me countless times, bringing me to tears or filling me with joy, purifying my heart, and elevating my character. In their family lives, workplaces, or social environments, they manifest the selflessness and perseverance of Dafa.

Some articles were particularly memorable for me. For example, “From a Farmer’s Hoe to a Computer Mouse,” from the first Fahui, written by a farmer, has inspired many practitioners to learn to use a computer and produce truth clarification materials. The authors of, “I Would Still Want to Be a Falun Dafa Disciple If I Were to Choose Again,” and “The Extraordinary Power of Falun Dafa,” a young practitioner and a paralyzed elderly practitioner respectively, displayed their pure hearts to save people, touching and inspiring countless practitioners to reflect on their cultivation and become more diligent.

Taking the Lead,” an article from the 8th Fahui, resonated deeply with my own experience during that period. Trapped by a heavy workload all year round, I had limited time for cultivation and participation of Fa rectification. I wanted to make a breakthrough, but lacked the strength to do so. However, after reading this sharing, my spirit was revitalized. The three words, “Taking the Lead,” often echoed in my mind, reminding me of Master’s relevant teachings and making me realize my responsibility for my environment and my heavenly world. This helped me to regain my righteous thoughts and calm my restless heart.

The Minghui China Fahui has accompanied practitioners over the years, recording the splendor and glory of those in China who resisted the persecution and validated the Fa. Though the articles only covered a small portion of the experiences of millions of practitioners in China, they are forever etched in history throughout the universe. Many more stories are still unfolding around us. So, let’s pick up our pens and continue to write.
