Aug. 24, 2024 |   By a Minghui correspondent in Boston

(Minghui.org) Practitioners of Falun Dafa held an Art of Zhen, Shan, Ren Exhibition in Boston Commons for one week beginning on August 18, 2024. The artworks present the principles of Falun Dafa, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance (Zhen, Shan, and Ren) and expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution of the practice.

People visit the Art of Zhen, Shan, Ren Exhibition.

People sign a petition calling to end the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa.

The exhibition touched people’s hearts with its depiction of Falun Dafa practitioners’ unyielding spirit in the face of the CCP’s violence. Many people expressed support for Falun Dafa.

Josie Liu, one of the organizers of the exhibition.

Josie Liu, one of the organizers of the exhibition, said the artworks are based on true happenings, and some were based on the artists’ personal experience of the CCP’s persecution. “One of the artists was imprisoned for three months in China for practicing Falun Dafa. He was tortured physically and psychologically. He told people through his painting what he experienced, which is still happening in China.”

A visitor named Carson said the paintings were beautiful and told him stories he didn’t know. “This is beyond an art exhibition. It’s a class. Every painting is so meaningful! From an artistic point of view, they are incredible and superb!”

Carson encouraged practitioners to stand firm in their belief. “Justice will eventually win! What happens in this world will result in retribution after this life,” he said.

Another visitor, Aubrey, said she had a different feeling about the artworks after she heard the stories behind them, and she was deeply touched. “The happy angels, demons, all the details, and backgrounds are meaningful. The paintings are gorgeous!”

Aubrey was especially touched by the painting titled “Position,” which depicts Falun Dafa practitioners being beaten by police when they protested on Tiananmen Square. They chose their future positions: The Falun Dafa practitioners were lifted to heaven while the persecutors were sent to hell. Aubrey said good people are rewarded, but those who do evil are punished.

Victoria and Chen carefully studied each artwork, and told practitioners they felt positive energy from the paintings.

“It’s a humbling and experience,” Victoria said.

“All these paintings seem to form one body and tell the same message,” Chen said.

Their favorite was the painting titled “Illumination.” “There seems to be an aura around them. It’s beautiful,” they both said.
