(Minghui.org) Bulgarian Falun Dafa practitioners attended the national Hello, Health! festival after a special invitation from the organizers on August 3 and 4, 2024. The festival was held in the picturesque village of Momchilovtsi, 20 kilometers from the regional center of Smolyan.

This festival in Momchilovtsi coincided with a yogurt festival held in the same city, which was attended by many Chinese merchants. The practitioners wanted to establish a presence to reach these Chinese people with information that they could not access at home.

At the Falun Dafa booth, the practitioners organized activities for adults and children. Practitioners were hoping that people would get to know about the cultivation practice. Adults could chat with practitioners and learn the exercises, while children could learn about the values of Falun Dafa—Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance—through the storybook The Lotus Story, as well as learning how to fold origami lotus flowers.

Falun Dafa practitioners also displayed a banner showing all five Falun Dafa exercises, as well as Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Dafa’s spiritual teachings.

Eight-year-old: The Lotus Story Is “Divine”

Blaga is eight years old and participated in the practitioners’ activities. She listened to the story of how being honest, kind, and patient could help a person achieve their dreams. After she heard the story, she said the book was “divine.”

She visited the practitioners’ booth on both days and showed her appreciation for the values of Falun Dafa. Before she left, she said, “I’m very happy to be here, it’s very nice. And the booklet is absolutely divine!”

Father and Son Connect with Falun Dafa

Boris is a boy of about six or seven years old. Though his parents are Bulgarian, he was born in England and now lives with his parents there. During the festival, Boris came to the practitioners’ booth to learn how to make lotus flowers, and his father followed along.

After hearing a practitioner explain Falun Dafa’s spiritual teachings and how they could benefit both the mind and body, Boris’ father became very excited. “This is what I’ve always been looking for!” he said. “This is why I had to come to Bulgaria these very days and be here on this very day,” he said.

He stated that he would visit the Falun Dafa website and read Zhuan Falun.
