(Minghui.org) The upcoming presidential election in the U.S. recently started to fascinate me. Although I know that, as Dafa disciples, we should not pay too much attention to this, I could not help myself. I watched the news for hours, and it caused me emotional stress.

There have been too many such lessons that when we are attached to certain candidates, the situation turned out to be the opposite. If many of us think the same way, the evil will take advantage of our loopholes.

No matter how good a person is, he is still an everyday person, and he will make mistakes. No one is perfect. Moreover, according to the principle of mutual generation and mutual inhibition, the better the person, the more tribulations he will encounter.

No matter who is elected president of which country, we still need to fulfill our responsibility to clarify the facts and save as many people as we can. We cannot depend on any non-practitioner to change society or end the persecution for us.

I write this to remind myself and all other practitioners to not be overly concerned about the situation in ordinary society. We live in the mundane world, but our minds should transcend this realm, and we should not be moved by everyday people’s affairs.
