(Minghui.org) Practitioners collected signatures during an event in Lleida, an ancient city in Spain on August 3, 2024. Local residents and tourists signed a petition calling to stop the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution, especially its atrocity of harvesting organs from practitioners while they were still alive. Many thanked practitioners for their tireless work.

William and his friend Elisabeth signed the petition. William said, “The persecution is ridiculous! Freedom of belief should be respected.”

A law student from the Middle East condemned the CCP’s organ harvesting, “Dictatorship doesn’t respect human rights. The Chinese Communist Party doesn’t allow freedom of belief because it doesn’t like people with clear minds. It wants people with no independent thinking that are easy to manipulate.”

Hiba and Hafsa, two college students, signed the petition and said, “We’d like to tell the Chinese Communist Party that everyone should have freedom of belief, and that no one can force others.”

Vanesa, a local resident, carefully read the introductory flyer and said, “Everyone should have freedom of expression and belief. These are people’s basic rights.”
