(Minghui.org) Practitioners held activities on July 20, 2024, in front of the Chinese Embassy and in the Old Square in the capital of Copenhagen to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 25-year-long persecution of Falun Dafa and to call on people from all walks of life to help end it.

Protest in Front of the Chinese Embassy

Shauli joined the peaceful protest at the Chinese Embassy that morning. For many years he has agreed with Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and regarded practitioners as friends. Each time he heard they planned to protest at the Chinese Embassy, and he said he wanted to participate. But he was unable to, for various reasons. This time the event took place on the weekend, so he was finally able to join them.

“I joined the protest at the Chinese Embassy to express my outrage at the CCP’s violation of human rights and persecution of so many good people,” Shauli said, “The persecution has been going on for 25 years. Practitioners are also my trusted friends, and the number of people killed by the CCP is increasing. I want to do my part to stop this cruel, dehumanizing persecution. Today, I finally have the opportunity to express my heart in front of the CCP embassy: Stop the persecution of Falun Dafa immediately!”

Event in Copenhagen

On the afternoon of July 20, the practitioners held an event in Copenhagen’s Old Square. They held a torture re-enactment, and displayed banners, and pictures of practitioners being persecuted in China. They also demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises.

A young man accepted a leaflet in English and read it as he walked. After a while, he and his friend returned because they said they felt the matter was serious and they wanted to know more. They also took leaflets about the investigative reports on the persecution and the CCP’s live organ harvesting from Falun Dafa practitioners.

“Is there no one who can help stop it?” They found it difficult to understand and said that if the international community paid more attention to this persecution earlier, and condemned the CCP’s atrocities, the persecution should not have gone on for so long.

When they learned that the United States House of Representatives recently passed the Falun Gong Protection Act, they saw hope for an end to the persecution. They said they were glad that their signatures contribute to ending the persecution.

A woman and her daughter from Spain said, “We will tell our friends and family about Falun Dafa and help spread the truth.”

A mother and her daughter from Spain came to the information table. The mother said, “How good it is to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance! Why not allow it? Why is this persecuted?”

The mother saw the information about live organ harvesting and asked, “Live organ harvesting is terrible, is this true?” The practitioner said it was and told her about the extensive research, evidence, and analyses that concluded that this crime is taking place on a large scale. Both mother and daughter were shocked. The mother was very sad and said, “I will definitely tell my relatives and friends this important information about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa.”

A tourist from Iran said, “We can understand why the CCP brutally persecutes Falun Gong practitioners, because it’s the same situation in Iran. Iran is also a dictatorship. So they apply similar brutality, corruption, and persecution of the people.” The couple happily signed the petition.

A lady and her two daughters from Turkey did not hesitate to sign the petition.

The eldest daughter said that some Uyghurs fled to Turkey, so they knew about the CCP’s persecution of human rights. “In China, whether it’s Tibetans, Mongolia, Uyghurs, Christians, or the Falun Gong community, as long as you adhere to your independent beliefs, you will be persecuted and even have your organs harvested while you are alive,” they said. In the face of the CCP’s various criminal acts, they did not hesitate to sign the petition to support practitioners’ efforts to end the persecution.

After talking with practitioners, a family from Poland said, “Communism only brings disaster.” The young man said, “This exercise looks peaceful. I’ll look into the information on Falun Dafa and the exercises.”

This was the first time some residents heard about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa. They said, “Your activities are very necessary, I signed the petition, and I hope that the persecution will end soon.”

After a Danish family heard why practitioners held the event, the wife said, “You are real warriors” and she was interested in learning Falun Dafa.
