(Minghui.org) To mark the 25th anniversary of Falun Gong practitioners’ efforts to end the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution, practitioners held a rally in front of the Chinese Embassy in Madrid on July 19, 2024. They condemned the CCP’s persecution, commemorated practitioners who lost their lives due to the CCP’s brutality, and called for an end to the Chinese regime’s forced organ harvesting from living practitioners.

The letter reads, “Every year on this day, Falun Gong practitioners around the world denounce the CCP’s human rights violations and continued persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
“On the 25th anniversary of Falun Gong practitioners protesting the persecution, I would like to express my support for Falun Gong practitioners, commemorate this day together, and ask the Chinese government to end this abuse.
“We cannot accept the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners: not only are their most basic human rights disregarded, but also their religious beliefs, freedom of speech, and freedom of thought are violated. Their body organs are treated as an economic commodity, and their lives end in cruel and ruthless ways. Organ trafficking is one of the most inhumane transactions in existence, and Falun Gong practitioners are victims of this terrible behavior.
“If the Chinese government wants to be respected by the international community, it must stop committing crimes and respect the rights and lives of its citizens.”

After being told about Falun Gong, educator Ms. Isabel Maria said, “This is how I understand God's righteous judgment. He takes his time. Although we may not be able to see him for the time being, I believe that he will appear and execute righteous judgment at the appropriate time. Always maintain faith and believe that there is a supreme God who will protect us and teach us how to protect our people. Always be grateful for every day we have and be tolerant of others, because we are all part of one body.
“I send peace and love to the Falun Gong victims. I hope that those who have lost their lives during this brutal persecution will return to the arms of God, and those who have done evil will surely receive the judgment they deserve. There is justice in the world. I hope that history will not be repeated in the future, and there will no longer be cruel and bloody persecutions like today because of the desire for freedom of belief and expression. I am very grateful to meet you [Falun Gong practitioners] today!”
Natalia expressed her support for Falun Gong.
Natalia passed by the Falun Gong practitioners’ event and stopped to ask about what was happening. After signing the petition calling for an end to the persecution, she said, “The CCP tramples on human rights, and people under the CCP cannot have their own beliefs. Organ transplantation is supposed to be non-profit and save lives, but the CCP actually carries out organ trafficking. This is an evil act. Human life is priceless; that’s the consensus.”
Mr. Eduardo Sánchez works in an administration department of the Spanish government. He has watched peaceful protests and rallies by Falun Gong practitioners in front of the Chinese Embassy many times. He told a practitioner, “I have learned about the CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong here and on social media networks. The CCP is a dictatorship and is eager to eliminate everything that does not conform to its ideology. I think Falun Dafa includes meditation, which does not brings disturbance or trouble; but in terms of ideology, the ideas of Falun Gong influence people, which makes the Chinese dictators very angry, so it tries to control and persecute those that do not adhere to its philosophy.”
When discussing the CCP’s organ harvesting from living people, Mr. Sanchez said, “I believe anything that the Chinese Communist dictatorship does is beyond imagination, because human rights do not exist there.” He also told the practitioner, “Four years ago I received your little lotus flower, and I hung it up at my place. The little flower really brings me good luck, and my work and business are going well.”
He added, “Every time I see you when I pass by, I always marvel at your ability to bring peace persistently. I hope more persecuted groups can come here and tell people that the CCP violates human rights.”
