(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

5. [Botou City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Harassed
6. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Province] Ms. Li Shuxia Arrested
7. [Yongqing County, Hebei Province] Mr. Pang Wenxia Arrested
8. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Limei Arrested
9. [Yuzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Zhang Dejiang Detained
10. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yubo Admitted to Prison

1. [Lanzhou City, Gansu Province] Mr. Ma Zhufu Detained

Mr. Ma Zhufu had been forced to live away from home to escape from the persecution for ten years. He was arrested in Lanzhou City on July 13, 2024. His arrest has been approved and he is now facing prosecution.

2. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Ling Haijie Sentenced

Mr. Ling Haijie was sentenced by Lianshan District Court on June 25, 2024. The length of his prison term isn’t clear.

3. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Wang Deping Arrested

Wang Deping, gender unknown, living in Luanquan Village, Shuangcheng District, was arrested at home on the morning of July 14, 2024.

4. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Mr. Xue Junshuang Arrested

Mr. Xue Junshuang lives in Xijiucheng Village, Yantuan Township, Julu County. He was arrested at home by officers from Yantuan Township Police Station on the afternoon of July 16, 2024. The police said he was photographed by someone while distributing Falun Gong materials.

5. [Botou City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Guo Xiuzhen received several harassment phone calls from officers of the Jiefang Police Station on the morning of July 7, 2024. Two officers went to her home to photograph her.

Ms. Dai Yizhen’s family member were harassed by officers of the Jiefang Police Station twice on July 10, 2024. Two officers took pictures of her at her home on the same day.

Mr. Yang Lifeng, who worked for Botou Match Factory, were harassed as well. The police took pictures of him, and forced him to sign papers.

Ms. Zhang Guiying and Cao Lianjing were harassed by officers from Yingzi Town Police Station, who took their photos and forced them to sign some paperwork.

6. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Province] Ms. Li Shuxia Arrested

Ms. Li Shuxia of Xingqing District was arrested around June 14, 2024. Her home was ransacked. She was taken to a police station. The police said they arrested her because she distributed Falun Gong materials somewhere. They tried to force her to sign documents. She refused to comply. She was released that day.

7. [Yongqing County, Hebei Province] Mr. Pang Wenxia Arrested

Mr. Pang Wenxia was arrested and taken to a police station by two officers when he was talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Longhuzhuang Street Market on the morning of July 15, 2024. He was released around 10 p.m.

8. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Limei Arrested

Ms. Wang Limei was a resident of Jianbala Village, Taohaotai Township, Qianguo County. She was arrested by officers from Baicheng City’s Zhenlai County Police Department around July 10, 2024.

9. [Yuzhou City, Henan Province] Mr. Zhang Dejiang Detained

Mr. Zhang Dejiang, 78, was arrested by Yuzhou City Domestic Security Division officers on May 13, 2024, after someone reported that he distributed Falun Gong flyers. The police ransacked his home and seized a copy of Zhuan Falun and several Falun Gong printouts. He was held in Yuzhou City Detention Center and his arrest has been approved.

10. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Yubo Admitted to Prison

Ms. Liu Yubo, 64, was sentenced to two years and three months with a 10,000-yuan fine by the Lianshan District Court on April 25, 2024. She was transferred from the Huludao Detention Center to the Liaoning Province Second Women’s Prison on July 16, 2024.
