(Minghui.org) Practitioners in Tuscany and Torino in northern Italy held activities on July 6 and 7, 2024, to introduce Falun Dafa and raise awareness of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) persecution.

Practitioners from the Tuscany region went to Prato, a city adjacent to Florence, and set up display boards and booths to demonstrate the Falun Dafa exercises and introduce the practice to passersby.

Prato is the largest Chinese textile and clothing production center in Italy and even in Europe. Its products are sold all over the world, and it is home to the largest number of Chinese residents in Italy.

During the event, a woman expressed approval of Falun Gong practitioners’ methods of raising awareness, and told practitioners, “This is indeed a very important thing!”

Some Chinese people smiled as they passed by the activities and repeated the sentence, “Falun Dafa is good.”

A man who spoke to a practitioner said that he had known about the persecution in China for some time and that communist ideology has been a great disaster for the Chinese. He commented that the CCP has destroyed the conscience of many nations. He told a practitioner that it is regrettable that some European countries have remained silent and still ignore these issues and maintain economic and political relations with China. The man showed interest in cultivation and was impressed by the fundamental principles of Falun Dafa, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

Torino Activities

In Torino, an important industrial city in the north, practitioners held an event in Piazza Carignano to raise awareness of Falun Dafa and the CCP’s persecution of practitioners in China.

Many people were drawn in by the banners and stopped to learn about the persecution in China. They picked up information and signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution and organ harvesting.

Several passersby who understood said they were deeply moved by the Falun Gong practitioners’ activities and expressed their hope that the persecution would end as soon as possible. Some people expressed disbelief after learning about the scale and brutality of the persecution in China.

People encouraged practitioners by saying “well done” and “keep up the good work.” They learned about the persecution and publicly condemned the CCP’s crimes against humanity.
