(Minghui.org) After the recent incident with the The Epoch Times newspaper, some people who have been slandering Dafa on social media platforms intensified their activities and took the opportunity to attack Shen Yun. Some former members of Shen Yun who had left the company also came forward to make so-called revelations. It was also found that Master’s lecture given on the Mountain had been secretly recorded and posted online.

Master published “The Ordeals Our Spiritual Discipline Faces” soon after the media incident. I realized that what happened was not just targeting the media or Shen Yun, but was persecution, and a test for all Dafa disciples and our entire cultivation community. Some practitioners told me that it felt like the most severe attack of Dafa since the persecution started on July 20, 1999.

Back in 1999, many veteran practitioners felt very heavy inside. Such heaviness wasn’t just a feeling, but physically existed. We felt the same this time around. It felt like a heavy piece of metal was blocking and pressing on our chests. Some felt like they were having a heart attack, and some others felt very uncomfortable physically, as if something would go terribly wrong. I felt this was something pressing down from other dimensions, and that all of us must bear the ordeals and tribulations together, which manifest as sickness karma or difficulties at work or in daily life for some practitioners.

During Independence Day in Washington D.C. on July 4th this year, some members of the Tian Guo Marching Band had difficulty breathing, dizziness, and other discomfort, which had never happened before.

In fact, what we have endured is only a tiny bit. Master has borne most of the huge karma and tribulations for us, and it has been this way for the past 20 or 30 years!

Some practitioners said that after what happened to the media, and seeing the slander attacks on social media, they felt powerless and didn’t know what they could do or should do.

I believe that to hold firm faith in Master and the Fa is first and foremost at all times, especially when encountering tribulations. Secondly, while making sure that we do well in our own cultivation, we should kindly keep an eye on each other and remind each other to act righteously with integrity. When there are no loopholes in our cultivation, the evil will have no chance to take advantage of us.

Believing in Master and the Fa is not just doing lip service, but is the foundation of our cultivation, an innate foundation that came with us when our life was originally created, and a firm belief constantly reinforced through countless trials and tribulations. True Dafa disciples can certainly withstand the tests. Any sand would naturally be sifted out. How can there be so much gold?! Nothing happens by chance, and no demonic entities can overturn the heavens!

When the persecution started in full swing in 1999, the Chinese Communist Party mobilized the entire state apparatus to persecute Dafa and the practitioners. Our resources and overseas manpower back then were nothing compared to what we have now. Whoever wants to cause disruption is merely sifting out the sand from the cultivators’ community. Dafa disciples, let us follow Master firmly with unwavering determination!

I hope that we can all face the current situation positively. We must study the Fa more often and cultivate ourselves well. At the same time we must also actively send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate all bad things and evil elements. I would also like to remind fellow practitioners not to go to extremes during this trying time, and to balance well all aspects in our lives and what we do.
