(Minghui.org) I began handing out the truth-clarifying materials in 2001. At that time, they were being supplied by large materials production sites. I rode a bicycle to remote rural areas about a dozen miles away to distribute them, leaving the urban and suburban areas for the older practitioners to take care of. My practitioner brother and I went after dark and didn’t return until after midnight. We carried a large bag of truth-clarifying pamphlets each time, and distributed them household by household until we finished.

Our states of mind were very pure. We had no fear and only thought about helping sentient beings learn the truth. Master gave us the most benevolent empowerment and protection, and our trips went smoothly. No matter how many materials we received from the production site, we managed to quickly distribute them. On our way, we also posted truth-clarifying signs and sticky notes.

At first, when the practitioners at the production site saw that we took large quantities of materials, they automatically assumed that we shared those materials with other practitioners.

The Minghui website later communicated that practitioners should set up small production sites everywhere. We set up our own family production site. I learned how to browse the Internet, download the materials, make DVDs, print, bind, and make booklets, and install operating systems. My production site became a comprehensive one, which ran independently.

I went from using low-volume printers to high-volume ones, and from one to multiple high-speed machines running simultaneously. For the past 20-plus years, I can’t remember how many printers I’ve used. Each one of them has printed more than they normally could produce. I also don’t know how many ink cartridges I’ve used.

The expenses for running the production site were jointly covered by local practitioners. But as to all operational costs, including buying printers, ink cartridges, and so on, I took care of these on my own. I usually began to produce materials early in the morning and didn’t have my first meal until as late as 2 or 3 p.m. Most of the time, after I finished making the materials, I was responsible for delivering them. This not only ensured the safe operation of the site, but also a continuous supply of materials. For the past two decades, we’ve been protected by Master.

The materials I produced have also been supplied to several other practitioners. I made sure to set aside two to three times each week to deliver them.

The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has known for years that it would fall one day. Out of fear, it has intensified its control, and monitored people more closely. Especially in the city, it set up video surveillance devices everywhere. This has caused safety concerns for practitioners who clarify the truth to people face-to-face.

My understanding is that the role our truth-clarifing materials play can’t be replaced by any other means. After people have read our pamphlets, it’d be easy to help them quit the CCP and its affiliates with a few words. But it would be fairly hard to help those who didn’t read the materials to quit the CCP. One would have to spend a lot of time explaining the facts.

We are Master’s disciples—the most righteous beings created by Dafa, and we carry the greatest honor in the universe. As Dafa disciples, how could we be constrained by principles of the old cosmos and factors in the lower dimensions of the human world? Knowing this, we never reduced the quantity of the materials produced by the two production sites supported by the Fa-study group that I joined.

The practitioners I supplied the materials to were mostly older practitioners who lived far away. For various reasons, such as getting older and sickness karma tribulations, the quantity of the materials they requested lessened significantly, so I distributed the left over ones myself.

Each time I went out, I brought about 60-70 pamphlets with me, and went to inside residential areas to hand them out, or placed them on bicycles or cars. With the pandemic lock-down, almost all the residential areas in the city had access controls installed at their gates, as did the apartment buildings within the area. Some of the high-rise buildings had even stricter surveillance and required card access.

They also had maintenance workers who cleaned the buildings, and often removed the materials. I was thus forced to change my approach and distributed them on the streets, leaving them in the bicycle baskets of students in front of schools and on cars and bicycles in front of hotels.

Most of the time, I distributed them in the early evening, right before students finished school and people got off work, so the pamphlets would be taken home promptly and read, as opposed to being taken by scavengers or those bad actors who didn’t want us to clarify the truth to people.

When I teamed up with another practitioner, it was usually at 8 p.m. in high traffic areas, like in front of hotels or at shopping malls. Most of the bikes and vehicles were temporarily parked, so those cars would leave quickly and no materials would be lost. We would sometimes check the pamphlets a while after attaching them, and occasionally some would be abandoned. But most of them were retrieved by the drivers.

Effective Fa-study was a prerequisite for us to in distributing the truth materials on a large scale. In our Fa-study group, most of us recited the Fa, and we have the Fa principles in mind. Every day, we would cleanse our bad thoughts, rectify our actions, and strengthen our righteous thoughts.

When we distributed the materials, either in residential areas or on the street, we faced the issue of surveillance cameras. This became a cultivation test and a test of my faith in Master and the Fa.

A few years ago, when the CCP first installed monitoring devices, I did not think they had anything to do with my truth-clarification efforts, and was very calm. But it was later reported on the Minghui website that some practitioners had been recorded by surveillance cameras and ended up being persecuted. Our local group kept reminding me to pay attention to safety. As I came across more sharing articles about this issue, I developed some negative thoughts and became concerned about cameras.

But I didn’t allow those thoughts to seize upon me, and I looked inward, using the Fa to assess things, and knew it was interference and a test. I sent righteous thoughts to eliminate it. However I didn’t do this effectively, and my fear gradually returned.

I understood that this state of mind wasn’t right, so I kept sending righteous thoughts to clean it up and dispel it. But this was the same as acknowledging the old forces’ arrangements and persecution, rather than going against it, which created unnecessary obstacles in my cultivation.

Master said:

“The old forces don’t dare to oppose our clarifying the truth or saving sentient beings. What’s key is to not let them take advantage of the gaps in your state of mind when you do things.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2002 Conference in Boston, U.S.A.,” Collected Teachings Given Around the WorldVolume II)

I understood from the Fa that our saving sentient beings is the most righteous thing in the universe, and no beings should interfere with us or test us, as whoever does so is committing a sin. Whenever I go out to distribute materials, I now send righteous thoughts along the way to eliminate fear and dismantle every evil factor that interferes with the sentient beings who are predestined to be saved.

I still occasionally don’t feel safe after I finish distributing the materials. Seeing cameras all over the place on the street, I become afraid that I’ve been recorded. But I know this thought wasn’t me, and I often repeatedly recite Master’s poem:

“If you have fear, they will grab youOnce your thought is righteous, evil will collapsePeople practicing cultivation, filled with FaSending righteous thoughts, exploding rotten ghostsGods are in the world, validating Fa”(“What’s There to Fear” in Hong Yin II)

With that, my fear eventually subsides.

I came to enlighten that Master asks us to gradually improve to become selfless, until we finally reach the standard for being true Dafa disciples. During our cultivation process, in every trial and tribulation, what we cultivate is our faith in Master and Dafa.

The camera that was in front of my house ended up being taken down. In the district where I live, whatever cameras were installed by the management office were also taken down. Moreover, the little red lights on most of the cameras on the streets were now off. It was Master who cleaned out these evil factors, laying the path for us to save sentient beings. All we have to do is follow what Master says to do our part.

In order to have an unceasingly pure mindset for saving sentient beings, one has to study the Fa and cultivate oneself well. I understand that there is still a fairly big gap in how I’ve performed in my cultivation compared to the standards for a true cultivator. I’ll work diligently going forward, so as to honor Master’s saving grace and follow Master to return home.
