1. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Deng Guoying’s Case Turned Over to Procuratorate

Ms. Deng Guoying was arrested and taken to the Dongguan Police Station on the afternoon of March 24, 2023, for carrying Falun Gong materials. That night, she returned home after her daughter acted as her guarantor and paid a fine of 3,000 yuan. Ms. Deng was subsequently placed on bail for one year by the Lianchi Police Department.

Ms. Deng received a call on June 7, 2024 from the Gaoyang County Procuratorate. The caller notified her that her case had reached the review and prosecution stage and asked her to go to the procuratorate for questioning on June 7. Ms. Deng went there with her son, and was interrogated. Her son signed relevant paperwork as demanded by the procuratorate personnel.

2. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Mr. Sun Xiaoming Officially Arrested

Mr. Sun Xiaoming from Hongshan District was officially placed under arrest. His case was turned over to the procuratorate.

3. [Duolun County, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Ms. Cheng Xiaoping Detained

Plainclothes police officers from Duolun County went to Ms. Cheng Xiaoping’s produce store on May 12, 2024. Ms. Cheng told them about Falun Gong and was recorded. Afterwards, the officers repeatedly asked her family members to take her to the police station, where they would detain her for 15 days. They refused to cooperate.

On June 11, 2024, several officers from the Duolun County Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Cheng and placed her in detention.

4. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Liu Jinxiang Held in Detention Center

Liu Jinxiang was arrested at home by officers from the South Xinjian Road Police Station on May 4, 2024. Liu’s home was ransacked. On the morning of May 5, Liu was taken to Chenzhuang Detention Center, where he or she has since been held.

5. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Caiyan Taken to No. 7 People’s Hospital

Ms. Sun Caiyan was arrested and her home ransacked by officers from the Nansha Police Station on May 12, 2024. She was taken to the Yaojia Detention Center. Ms. Sun was recently taken to the No. 7 People’s Hospital in Dalian City.

6. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yuan Junhua Taken to Detention Center

Ms. Yuan Junhua from Shouguang City, Shandong Province, was displaced. She was followed on the morning of June 13, 2024, and arrested by Shouguang police at her rented home. She was taken to the Weifang City Detention Center that afternoon.

7. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yu Shikun Arrested

Ms. Liu Meili'’s mother Ms. Yu Shikun is from Dajian’an Village, Jiacun Town, Wangdu County. On the afternoon of June 12, 2024, Ms. Yu was arrested by Beijing and Baoding police officers at her home in Baoding City.

8. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Ms. He Lifang Arrested

Ms. He Lifang, who is in her 50s and currently lives in Changli County, Qinhuangdao Development Zone, was arrested by officers from the Xiangshuwan Police Station in the Development Zone on the afternoon of June 13. Further details are pending.

9. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Yuquan Detained

Mr. Zhang Yuquan from Yangquanzi Town, Panshan County, was arrested on May 13, 2024. He was detained in the Panshan County Detention Center for ten days, and returned home on May 23.

10. [Beijing] 83-Year-Old Ms. Wang Lianzheng Sentenced

Ms. Wang Lianzheng, 83, from Chaoyang District, was sentenced to three years in prison and fined 3,000 yuan by the Chaoyang District Court in late November 2023. The prosecutor said, “She was old and in poor health.” They let Ms. Wang return home and told her to wait to be called by the court.

Li Sen, who is based in the No. 2 Office Section of Chaoyang District Court, asked Ms. Wang to show up on the afternoon of June 24, 2024, at Room 123 of the No. 7 Conversation Suite, which is located in South Longzhuashu Lane, Xiaohongmen Township, Chaoyang District.

11. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Yuan Xiulian from Jidong County was arrested by officers from Jidong County Domestic Security Division on May 2, 2024. Ms. Yin Qiuzhen from Shandong Province and Ms. Liu Guiling were also arrested. Ms. Liu was arrested by officers from the Jidong County Domestic Security Division after they first went to her daughter’s home in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province. All three practitioners are being held in the Jixi Detention Center.

12. [Pengzhou City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Ai Kexiu Detained

Ms. Ai Kexiu was arrested at home on May 16, 2024. The police confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong and a jukebox. She was taken to the Pengzhou City Detention Center, where samples of her blood, fingerprints, and foot prints were taken. She had to undergo an ultrasound scan as well. Ms. Ai returned home after being detained for 15 days.
