8. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Liu Hongli Arrested and Detained

1. [Suizhou City, Hubei Province] Four Practitioners Face Trial

Four practitioners, Mr. Leng Shunchang, Ms. He Zhuojun, Ms. Peng Huayun, and Ms. Gong Taiqing, were arrested by officers from the Zengdu District Police Department around 10 p.m. on August 3, 2023. They have been detained for over 10 months. They will be tried in court at 9 a.m. on June 27, 2024.

2. [Quzhou County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Four practitioners, Ms. Wu Xuezhang, Qin Jingxiang, Ms. Li Lian’e, and Ms. Wang Xiumei, have been detained in the Quzhou County Detention Center and the No. 3 Detention Center of Handan City respectively for nearly six months.

3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xiang Changqing Arrested

Ms. Xiang Changqing from Qingshan District, about 75, was arrested at home on June 12, 2024. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

4. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Qiao De Detained

Qiao De (gender unknown) was first detained in the Jizhe County Detention Center and was then transferred to the Third Detention Center of Handan City around June 15, 2024.

5. [Yingcheng City, Hubei Province] Mr. Yang Muqing Arrested

Mr. Yang Muqing, 77 was arrested by officers from the Chengzhong Police Station on June 16, 2024. He was interrogated in the police station but he refused to cooperate. He was released that evening.

6. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Harassed

Three practitioners were harassed by officers from the Lianzhuang Police Station, led by Guo Xuemei from the Qinghe County Police Department, in May 2024. They are Zhang Li from Mashuangfu Village, Ms. Tang Fengsu from Zhangzhuang Village, and Mr. Kang Guiping from Chengxi Town. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated their Falun Gong books.

7. [Enping City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liang Liqiong Arrested

Twelve police officers ransacked Ms. Liang Liqiong’s home at midnight, on June 4, 2024. They confiscated her computer and other personal belongings. They returned the next morning and confiscated her Falun Gong books and money. Ms. Liang was arrested and taken away.

8. [Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Liu Hongli Arrested and Detained

Ms. Liu Hongli from Yanta District, 69, was arrested by officers from the Taoyuan Police Station in Lianhu District on May 14, 2024 and was detained for 15 days. Ms. Liu was arrested one year ago by officers from the same police station on May 5, 2023.
