It’s recently confirmed by Minghui.org that a Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province, resident, passed away on May 23, 2015 due to the persecution of her faith, Falun Gong. She was 73.
Ms. Xin Jingfang went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in July 1999, when the Chinese Communist Party officially ordered the persecution. She was repeatedly harassed by the local police when she returned and was given three years at the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp in October 1999. She was the first Falun Gong practitioner in her area to be given a forced labor camp term.
As Ms. Xin remained firm in her faith, the labor camp guards repeatedly beat her, and especially targeted her head. Her body and neck also had deep scars left from repeated electric shocks. One time Ms. Xin was dragged into the hallway and kicked on her forehead by a male guard wearing hard boots. Her forehead had a big swelling and she passed out. She was left lying on the cold concrete ground for hours before she came to.
After she was released, she was frequently in a delirious state and often talked nonsense. She also developed a heart problem and a brain condition. The police continued to monitor her and often harassed her at home.
Succumbing to the persecution, she passed away on May 23, 2015.
