(Minghui.org) After publishing “How Humankind Came To Be,” and “Why the Creator Seeks to Save All Life,” Mr. Li Hongzhi, Falun Dafa’s founder, recently published another article: “Why This World Is a Realm of Unknowing.”
Many people said they gained inspiration and new insights after reading these articles. In particular, they have a better understanding of what it means to be benevolent and to care for each other.
Li Ai-Mei, a Chinese teacher from Taiwan, heard about the article from her student. The first time she read it, she didn’t quite understand. “I told myself that my lack of wisdom prevented me from understanding the deeper meaning behind the article,” she said.
After repeatedly reading the article, Li said the idea that the universe goes through the phases of formation, stasis, degeneration, and destruction resonated with her. “With global warming and incessant wars—this shows that we are indeed in the last phase: ‘destruction.’ What Master Li said is true,” she said.
In the article, Master explained that humanity lives in a world that cannot perceive the complete reality of the universe. People can only cultivate themselves and remain kind amid the delusion. “This taught me to face challenges serenely and to not complain about life,” she explained.
Li also believes that reading this article can have a positive impact on society. “I think that if everyone can maintain benevolent thoughts, it will significantly reduce society’s suffering. Benevolence is about sacrificing oneself for others. If more people think this way, there will be less selfishness and that is exactly what this world needs,” she said.
Li said she’s now read the article several times. With each new reading, each section seemed more interesting and worth reflecting on in depth. “Each time I read the article I realized that my view of the facts might not be complete. I need to remain humble so that I can grasp different perspectives,” she said. “Even though we live in a place of unknowing, I think we need to keep an open mind to get closer to the truth.
“I would recommend this article to those who feel lost in their lives. I hope that when facing hardships, they’ll be able to keep benevolent thoughts and face challenges with more courage,” she added.
Sarah, a young woman in her 20s living in Switzerland, received the article from a friend who practices Falun Dafa. She read the article twice and felt she needed to read it several more times.
“It opened up my thoughts. It gave me an opportunity to think about something that’s in my life. For example, what might be behind life, what is behind these Three Realms, why we are here, and why we suffer,” she said. “It’s a bit philosophical. It’s something that I normally don’t think about. So, this article opened up my mind.”
Sarah explained that the article helped her gain some new perspective on the meaning of life. She also discovered some words and principles that are new to her. “[The article is] very interesting, and helps [me] to think about insights regarding karma, life, suffering, benevolence as a way out, and being ‘forgiven’,” she said. “The fact that we can live again after this lifetime is interesting. I call it having a ‘soul,’ because I don’t know if there’s a more precise term for it.”
Sarah also discovered the concept of “Three Realms,” and said, “As I understood, the Three Realms were created for mankind to eliminate the karma from their sins through suffering,” she said. This article has also motivated Sarah to look into cultivation a bit more. “My goal in life is to be benevolent, and always be kind to others. I should cultivate myself for a change,” she said.
To understand Master Li’s new article even better, she believes that one should read Falun Dafa’ main book, Zhuan Falun. “I feel that to fully understand the Fa, or to interpret it in any case, I should read more, starting by reading Zhuan Falun in detail,” she explained.
“I’m sad that Falun Dafa is banned in China,” said Sarah. “I think the practice makes the world a better place. Practitioners are good people and they sacrifice for others.”
Rossi Vurova is a 33-year-old economist in Bulgaria. She received the article from a friend who practices Falun Dafa. “This friend and I share similar views about our surroundings, such as the unconscious and unseen spectrum of the universe,” she said.
When reading the article, Vurova felt an inner urge to search for the truth. “I’ve been interested in this subject for years. I feel an inner urge to search for the truth. It strikes me that many of the ancient books as well as those on religious subjects alluded to this point. Master Li’s article also mentioned this,” Vurova explained.
She feels that since this article is available for the general public to read, it indicates a kind of awakening. “Everyone filters information according to their own awareness,” Vurova said. “In my observation, the general public is still asleep. But I have intuitively sensed that the moment of mass awakening is approaching.”
Vurova read “Why This World Is a Realm of Unknowing” twice and “felt a sense of further confirmation that many of the so-called ‘curtains’ over the general consciousness were about to fall.” The article brought her “a peaceful mind and an indication that things are happening in the right way as determined by the universe.”
Based on the article from Master Li, Vurova said she understood the “energy” of the universe is in disarray and needs to be re-balanced. She believes that Master Li speaks of a readjustment that will set things right.
A coworker who practices Falun Dafa told Jorge Achucarro from Argentina about the article. His first impression after reading it was that reincarnation does exist. He said he felt relaxed and calm after reading it, and the article inspired him, “...to be conscious, calm, and to continue helping others.
“We should always offer help without expecting to be compensated; we can also maintain goodness and be grateful. In the midst of suffering one can cultivate, and that only suffering can eliminate one’s karma and sin,” said Achucarro, adding that the article helped him gain more awareness of the universe and humanity.
Achucarro said he’s now read Master Li’s article three times and feels that the teachings echo his own understanding of our current world. “I think we have to change. I also feel that we are in one of the last stages in which no one respects others and will do anything to harm and hurt, both the planet and other people. I will recommend this article to others, because I want to make them aware that the planet and human life must be taken care of and respected,” he said.
