(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 9 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Jidong County, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested and Detained
2. [Xishui County, Hubei Province] Mr. Shen Shun’an Arrested
3. [Xiantao City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Ye Arrested
4. [Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Darong and Ms. Huang Daihua Sentenced
5. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Sun Deguo Tried in Court
6. [Heishan County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Han Chunlong Tortured in Prison

1. [Jidong County, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested and Detained

Three practitioners from Yong’an Town, including Li Kun and Ms. Li Junxiang, were arrested by officers from the Xiangyang Town Police Station on November 18, 2024. They are currently detained in the Jixi City Detention Center.

2. [Xishui County, Hubei Province] Mr. Shen Shun’an Arrested

Mr. Shen Shun’an was arrested in Chengbei Market, where he worked, around November 23, 2024, by officers from the Qingquan Police Station. His computer and cell phone were confiscated.

3. [Xiantao City, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Ye Arrested

Ms. Chen Ye, 60, and living on her own, was arrested in early November 2024.

4. [Neijiang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Darong and Ms. Huang Daihua Sentenced

Ms. Chen Darong was sentenced to two years in prison and fined 6,000 yuan. Ms. Huang Daihua was sentenced to one and a half years. Both were allowed to serve time outside of prison.

5. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Sun Deguo Tried in Court

Mr. Sun Deguo was arrested in Lindian on August 6, 2024, and has since been detained in the Daqing City Detention Center. He was tried virtually by the Ranghulu District Court on November 21, 2024. The judge said that the next hearing would be held 10 or 15 days later.

6. [Heishan County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Han Chunlong Tortured in Prison

Mr. Han Chunlong was sentenced to four years in prison and admitted to the Jinzhou Prison in August 2024. He was placed under a month of strict control on October 13, 2024, for not swinging his arm while walking. The strict control was extended for another two weeks, until November 26, due to his “bad attitude.” He was forced to sit on a small stool without moving every day during this period.
