1. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Hongwei Faces Trial

Mr. Wang Hongwei is scheduled to appear in the Ganjingzi District Court at 1:30 p.m. on November 29, 2024.

2. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Jianqiu Tried in Court

Ms. Zhang Jianqiu from Penglai District was tried by the Penglai District Court on the morning of November 20, 2024. Her lawyer entered a not-guilty plea for her. Her family attended the hearing.

3. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Six Practitioners Face Trial

Six practitioners who were arrested on May 11, 2024 are scheduled to stand trial at 9 a.m. on December 2, 2024, at the Shuangta District Court. The practitioners include Mr. Tian Pengfei, Ms. Fu Wenhui, Mr. He Hongjun, Mr. Chen Doulin, Mr. Lan Qingzhong, and his wife Ms. Hu Xiuli.

4. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Nine Practitioners Face Prosecution

Nine practitioners, including Liu Cuixian, Ms. Liu Xiaoping, Ms. Ma Ling, Ms. Zheng Cuilan, Ms. Zhu Yongzhen, Ms. Li Huanzhen, Ms. Yang Huifang, Ms. Zhang Xiuzhen, and Mr. Bi Sheng, were arrested on June 6, 2024. The Xishan District Police Department recently submitted their case to the Xishan District Procuratorate again, after the latter returned the case in early October 2024, citing insufficient evidence. The practitioners are currently detained in the Xishan District Detention Center.

5. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Li Yuelan Arrested Again

Ms. Li Yuelan from Baohe District was arrested in October 2024. She has been arrested many times for talking to people about Falun Gong in recent years.

6. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zeng Shuying Arrested

Ms. Zeng Shuying from Shinan District was reported to the police for placing a booklet about Falun Gong in a car in September 2024. Her home was ransacked, and a dozen Falun Gong books, a booklet, her cell phone, and her ID card were confiscated. She has been released.
