(Minghui.org) Mr. Gong Jinjun stood in front of the Japanese House of Representatives Hall on November 8, 2024, and called on Japan’s political leaders to help rescue his imprisoned mother in China and demand the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) immediately release her.

Jinjun hopes that through this event, Japanese people and parliament members will learn the facts about the persecution of practitioners in China, and pay attention to the human rights violations that his mother, Ms. Yao Jiaxiao, is subjected to in China. He urged the Japanese government to contact the CCP via diplomatic channels and demand the CCP immediately release his mother and all illegally detained practitioners.

Mr. Gong Jinjun called on Japan’s political leaders to help rescue his imprisoned mother in China.

Ms. Yao Jiaxiu, born in Sichuan Province, China, began to practice Falun Dafa in 1995 and benefited both mentally and physically. She is being persecuted by the CCP for her faith. Falun Dafa is a cultivation practice whose guiding principles are Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The CCP felt threatened by the rapid spread of Falun Dafa and began persecuting it in 1999.

Because Ms. Yao went to Beijing to speak for Falun Dafa she was arrested and repeatedly tortured. She was sentenced to three years in prison in 2001 and was imprisoned again in 2006 and 2007. She was taken to a mental hospital where she was forcibly injected with unidentified drugs. After she was released, she had to leave her home multiple times and move from place to place to avoid being arrested. Nevertheless, she has persevered in her faith of Falun Dafa.

Ms. Yao was once again imprisoned on September 20, 2024, and was secretly transferred to Xichang City, Sichuan Province. Her family was not allowed to visit her and they are seeking justice for her. Ms. Yao is severely persecuted because she refused to give up her faith, despite being imprisoned and repeatedly tortured. 

Mr. Gong Jinjun, Ms. Yao’s son, is asking Japanese Parliament Members to help rescue his mother, and he is calling on the international society to work together to stop the CCP from persecuting practitioners in China.

The CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa has been going on for 25 years. Millions of practitioners were arrested and tortured. The international society continuously pressures the CCP. The U.S. House of Representatives passed the Falun Gong Protection Act. Taiwan’s political leaders expressed support for Faun Dafa, and Japan has also begun paying attention to the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa.

Japanese People Express Their Support

Mr. Akamatsu passed by the House of Representatives Hall. He said, with tears in his eyes, “I pray for the safety of his mother. I hope you take approaches (via diplomatic pressure). I hope she will be rescued.”

Ms. Sudo condemned the Chinese Communist regime for harvesting organs from living practitioners commercial trade and called it an unpardonable act against humanity. She said the people doing this are “unworthy of being a human being.” She pointed out that the CCP is committing “a huge crime” and called on the international society to take action.
